Chapter 0772
By the time Alden and Serenity arrived in Santorini, the sun was just beginning to rise. Alden had booked one of the most exclusive hotels on the island, ensuring their honeymoon would be as perfect as possible.
Serenity, however, was exhausted. She had slept through most of the flight, but arriving at dawn had drained her
energy even more.
Alden carried her to their suite, which was beautifully decorated with flowers, and on the table sat a bottle of non- alcoholic sparkling wine, ready for a toast.
“Wait… this actually exists?” Serenity asked, raising an eyebrow at the bottle.
“I guess so. I have no idea how good it is, but I didn’t want to give you actual wine because of the baby.”
“Well, Mr. Palmer, you’ve definitely surprised me.”
“That was the plan, my love. To give you the best honeymoon ever. You told me you always wanted to visit this place, so here we are.” He pulled her close by the waist, his lips brushing against her ear. “Mrs. Palmer, welcome to married life. I hope we have a great time here.”
“I’m sure we will…” Serenity whispered, her hands moving to unbutton her dress.
“God, you’re cruel.”
“Why?” she teased.
“You know I have no self–control when it comes to you.”
“And? No one here can hear us… At least no one we’ll ever see again.”
She let her dress slip from her shoulders, revealing her bare skin, her curves more prominent now with the pregnancy. Alden swallowed hard, his gaze darkening with desire.
“You have no idea how breathtaking you look right now.” His hands roamed over her body, his fingers tracing the soft glow of her skin. “Your eyes, your lips… Your body is changing, and somehow, you’re even more beautiful than before.”
He pressed his lips against her sensitive skin, his hands moving with reverence.
“Mrs. Palmer, I love you. I love every part of you, every piece of what you are. I love the scent of your skin, every inch of it, and most of all–**I love your heart, the one beating right beneath these gorgeous breasts.”
His hands caressed her softly as he kissed her, making her sigh in pleasure. Serenity tangled her fingers in his hair, shivering as every touch, every kiss, every breath against her skin sent waves of pleasure through her body.
“I love you, Serenity. I love both of you,” Alden whispered, his lips trailing down to her growing belly. “I love this baby we created.”
With gentle care, he lifted her into his arms and laid her down on the plush bed. In mere seconds, his own clothes were gone, revealing the toned body of a man who trained regularly but without excess. Serenity lay beneath him, looking up as he kissed her slowly, savoring every inch of her skin.
That night, she let herself get lost in him, surrendering to the passion that burned between them.
Just as the sun fully rose, Alden’s phone vibrated on the nightstand. He groaned, reaching for it before slipping out onto the balcony to take the call.

Chapter 0772
“Alden?”
“Yes, Uncle Maximus. What’s going on?”
“Did you see the news from Valentia?”
“I read something about Frank Levett’s arrest.”
“After the trial and sentencing, they’ll be transferring him to a high–security prison. The verdict hasn’t been announced yet, but it’s clear–that bastard is finally going to pay for everything he’s done. And not just because of us–many families have come forward to testify against him.”
“So that means…”
“Exactly. You’ll soon be able to return to Valentia without any threats.”
“My father–does he know about this?”
“Not yet. We haven’t been able to track him down. Last we knew, he was in Piran, Slovenia, but even Theodore doesn’t know his exact location now. We know he’s back in Valentia, which worries me. Marcus was hunting him down before he left.”
“Wait–why didn’t you tell me this earlier?”
“Because, Alden, you’ve had your hands full. You’ve been taking care of all the kids and looking after my two precious women. Emma is with you, but I’ll always be grateful for how you’ve stepped up without hesitation. Even Marcus should be grateful for the role you’ve played in all of this.”
Alden fell silent. He knew going back wouldn’t be easy. He was about to step into a storm, one that would bring new problems along with it. But this was his life now. And no matter what was waiting for him in Valentia—he would face it head–on.
After the call, Alden stepped back into the bedroom, his eyes immediately landing on his wife.
It still felt surreal. He never thought he’d get married again And yet, there she was, lying in bed–his wife, carrying his child. The pregnancy had only made her more beautiful, her body more alluring than ever.
“Are you just going to stand there and admire me from a distance?” Serenity teased, her voice low and sultry.
“I was admiring you. Admiring how stunning you are… and admiring this little belly.” He walked toward her, his fingers grazing the small curve of her stomach. “You have me completely wrapped around your finger, my love.”
“Then come here,” she whispered. “Lie down with us.
“Us?”
“Yes. Us. I’ve been waiting for the perfect moment to tell you… Remember when I went to the gynecologist last week? She was able to see what our baby is going to be.”
Alden’s breath hitched. “Wait–you mean…?”
“It’s a girl, Alden. We’re having a daughter.”
A moment of silence passed before pure joy spread across Alden’s face.
