tests. 

“Ms. Levett, Mr. Palmer, congratulations! There’s a baby on the way! Based on the results, you’re about nine weeks along.” 

“Maximus, congratulations! You’re going to be a father!” Alexia exclaimed, her face glowing with joy. “Alexia… I… I don’t know what to say,” Maximus stammered, clearly overwhelmed. 

Alexia interpreted his reaction as awe, believing he was simply speechless at the thought of becoming a father. She couldn’t imagine that, in reality, Maximus’s mind was in turmoil. 

For weeks, he had been preparing to end things with her and work to salvage his marriage with Mary. But now, a baby complicated everything. As he left Mary’s side that morning, he hadn’t expected it might be the last time he saw her.

“I’m leaving in 30 minutes. Be ready or I’m going alone.” 

“I’ll be at your door in 15 minutes. My friend can’t go through this alone anymore.” 

Peter drove to the airport like a man possessed, with Aurora gripping the car seat tightly as they sped along. When they arrived, a private jet was already waiting. Aurora, stunned, finally realized just how wealthy Peter Palmer was. 

In Lunavalle, Dr. Serena Hill had a calm and meaningful conversation with Mary, identifying deeply rooted traumas from her past. These included her father’s treatment of her, the absence of her mother, the separation from her grandfather, and the toxic relationship with her husband.

“To put it bluntly, if she were given a choice right now, she might choose death. The only thing keeping her alive is the hope of seeing her grandfather again. Do you think that’s normal?” 

“No… but I can’t accept the idea of her being committed to a mental institution,” Catherine replied,
