Chapter 0111
Hanley gave an okay,
Once out of the ward, Candice Immediately walked over to the emergency stairs.
Yvonnne followed her and asked, “Candy, where are we going?”
Candice stopped. She took in a deep breath before turning and looking at Yvonne, her voice cold and decisive. “Til pay for Peach’s medical bills, and It’s going to be 20,000 every month. I’ve asked the doctor, and she said it would be around that price every month.”
Yvonne nodded. “Alright. That’s up to you.”
Candice then continued, “But I won’t pass the money to you.”
When Yvonne heard that, she was stunned for a moment before raising her head. “What do you mean? Who
else are you going to give it to?”
“You don’t have to worry about that.” Candice’s face showed no expression as she looked at the woman in. front of her with dark eyes.
All the love that she never got when she was little… was because of this woman.
All the desires and expectations she had from a mother had been destroyed by Yvonne.
She struggled to imagine that one day she had to be wary of her own mother.
Candice’s lips moved, and she finally said, “I won’t give you one more cent.”
“You…” Yvonne opened her mouth as she took two steps back, her eyes still fixed on Candice as she carried. an expression of disbelief. “Candy, you’re Joking, right?“,
“You know if I’m joking.” Candice said as she immediately got out of the stairwell.
Leaving Yvonne behind alone.
When Candice was back in the ward again, she didn’t even glance at Peach and simply said to Hanley, “I’ve
settled everything. Let’s go.”
Hanley nodded. But before he could say anything, Sonia, who was at the side, asked, “Where’s your mother?
Why isn’t she with you?”
Candice could see the glee in her eyes and didn’t want to say anything to her anymore.
Only she knew how terrible she felt today. She was like a fool.
She simply said, “If you wanted to wait here, then wait.”
Sonia didn’t want to aggravate Candice anymore. She had enough drama for one day, anyway.
With a smile, she said. “Lex will come over soon. I’ll wait for him.”
$15 BONOS
Candice didn’t know where Alex had gone, so she simply nodded. “Do as you like.”
Hanley quietly followed Candice out of the hospital and said, “I’m sorry, I didn’t know that this is how things
are,”
Candice nodded. “There’s nothing to apologize for.”
There were mixed feelings in his eyes. “You’re very different from what I thought.”
“Is that praise?” Candice said without turning around. She was still as calm as she continued the
conversation with him.
Hanley honestly said, “Yes.”
He glanced at Candice. “You’re very brave.”
Candice didn’t answer him. She didn’t know what he meant by that.
