Candice’s grandfather wasn’t doing well. He looked at Candice with half–opened eyes and couldn’t say 

another word after a long time. 

The dean then reminded Candice from the back. “He kept on calling for you after he woke up.” 

Candice tucked in her grandpa’s blanket and said, “Rest well. You can tell me about it tomorrow.” 

However, he refused to let go of her hand.
