Chapter 61 

A week later, winter had begun in Osmo. The hotel scenery began to look gloomy. 

Linda stepped out of the hotel and got into Wendy’s car. 

She wore a brown coat over a white V–neck lace long–sleeve top. It was paired with light jeans and ankle boots. She also carried a Birkin bag, and her simple yet elegant outfit radiated sophistication. 

Today, there was a meeting at the Felix Group. Linda had to attend the meeting as the largest shareholder. Wendy got out to open the car door for her after they arrived. 

“Ms. Felix, you should really consider joining the entertainment industry,” she suggested as Linda settled in, fastened her seatbelt, and placed her bag down. 

“You couldn’t convince Samson, so you’re trying to persuade me now?” Linda questioned back. 

Wendy sat in the front passenger seat and instructed the driver to start driving. She turned back to Linda with a smile. “Not really. Just that your face is truly remarkable.” 

“Thanks. I’ll take that as a compliment, Linda replied. She took out her phone to handle some emails she hadn’t dealt with last Friday. 

“Of course, it’s a compliment, Ms. Felix, Wendy replied. 

Linda handed her a document. “I need this document to be organized and returned to me before lunch. The important points have to be highlighted” 

Wendy was momentarily surprised but quickly nodded. “Got it.” 

“This document is important, Linda emphasized. “Don’t let anyone else handle it.” 

Wendy understood she was one of the few people Linda trusted, so she knew she had to be extra diligent with her work. 

After dropping Linda off at the Felix Group, Wendy didn’t follow her inside. Instead, she headed to the secretary’s office to start working on the document. 

All the top executives of the Felix Group were present in the conference room. Linda knew they were discussing strategies related to Tom and the lawsult William had filed against him. 

Even though Tom no longer had significant ties to the Felix Group, he was once part of the company. 

However, now that trouble had arisen and threatened their interests, everybody treated him as a 

scapegoat. 

Those people cared not for the company but for their personal gains. They ignored the company’s well- being but focused more on the profits that could be generated. 

“Linda, why don’t you talk to Mr. Wilson? If this escalates, it will only harm the Felix Group,” Tobby 

suggested. 

Once he spoke up, the others chimed in and urged Linda to take action. 

“Ms. Felix, you’re the largest shareholder of the Felix Group. You’re also the daughter of the former president. The company was Mr Felix’s hard work and legacy.” 

“Exactly! Can you really bear to see Mr. Felix’s efforts go to waste?”
