Linda’s heart would’ve softened over this in the past, but not this time. She said, “Mr. Wilson, if you’re unwell, you should be in the hospital.” 

Then, she remembered William had just said he was in the hospital. “Wait. You’re already in the hospital. So, please find a doctor and your assistant. I have no time and no obligation.” 

William said, panicking, “But my wound is because of you. 

*I’ll compensate you financially.” 

“I don’t need money. I just want to see you. Linda, please don’t be so cruel. Please?” Willlian’s humility was unprecedented. 

In the end, Linda’s heart softened. “Which hospital?”

On her way to the hospital, Linda received a call from Jimmy. “What’s up?” 

I have a cold. I’m at the hospital. Can you come see me?” Jimmy asked. 

“Which hospital?” 

The sound of Linda’s turn signal came through Jimmy’s phone. “Are you in the car?” 

“I’m driving.”
