Never Late, Never Away Chapter 2647

Why Was She Kidnapped

Larry was clearly stumped.

“Larry, why was she kidnapped? Does he want money? Or something else?” Caspian queried.

“He requested for one million,” said Larry solemnly.

However, he couldn’t be sure if all they wanted was money.

It would be easy to sort things out if this was just a mere kidnapping incident. However, if it was more than that, things would get complicated.

Meanwhile, in a dark warehouse, Della could hear the rain dripping steadily onto the ground as her heart clenched in fear.

There were three men standing in front of her. “What do you want?” she demanded in a trembling voice.

She had never endured such sufferings, ever.

“Ms. Duff, we invited you here to have some tea with us. Don’t be nervous. Be good, alright?” A man stepped forward and ruffled her hair.

“Don’t touch me!” she turned away and screamed.

Slap!

A slap landed on Della’s face, causing her cheek to flare up immediately.

The kidnapper barked out, “You like Larry Norton, right? What a pity he is married!”

He added, “Why don’t you become my woman? You shall lead a wealthy life. Oh, I can also lead a wealthy life thanks to you,” the kidnapper uttered and caressed her jaw in a lecherous manner.

Della spat without hesitation as her gaze grew cold. “Dream on!”

“Know your place! I call the shots here!” the kidnapper patted his chest and declared arrogantly.

There were three of them, and he was their leader.

“Why did you kidnap me?” Della went straight to the point.

“Larry, are you sure it’s alright for you to go alone?” Caspian expressed his concern.

Caspian was worried that Larry’s efforts would be in vain.

“Remember what I told you, Caspian. Run in with your men after hearing that and make sure you save Della. She represents her family and the development of an era.”

Larry wasn’t exaggerating. Indeed, Della’s influence was incomparable overseas. Her self-established brand and projects she handled were all successful.

Furthermore, she was an influential person locally, too.

“I’m afraid you’ll be in danger—”

Larry cut in firmly, “Don’t you worry. I’ll be fine.”

Hopefully, their plan would work.

In the end, Larry entered his car with the one million he prepared while Caspian followed behind with his men.
