Chapter 3041
Before she could finish, Caspian entered the room and greeted, "Joan!"
Jessica shut up promptly and went to the window, staring outside. She looked so cold and distant.
Clearly, she was still mad at Caspian.
Seeing her reaction, Caspian scratched his head awkwardly.
"Uh, do you feel better now?" he inquired.
"I'm alright. Don't worry, they are taking good care of me; Joan answered lightly.
"By the way, what about that..."
She trailed off hesitantly.
Everyone else knew who she was talking about, including Caspian, who was stumped.
"It's a little tricky, he concluded helplessly. Joan had guessed as much.
Lisa may be young and looked innocent, but she was actually a scheming b*tch.
There were plenty of women like her in the world.
Caspian must've committed some heinous act in his past life for him to meet such an annoying young lady.
"What do you plan to do?" Larry asked.
He wanted Caspian to make things clear in front of Jessica.
If this matter were to drag on, Jessica's disdain for him would heighten.
Caspian lowered his gaze helplessly.
Indeed, he didn't even know what he should do next.
He wanted to get rid of Lisa, but she insisted that she was pregnant with his child and kept clinging to him shamelessly.
"Larry, Joan, you have no idea how crazy she can be.She told me if I were to reject her, she would die in front of me.She had also slit her wrist previously"
Caspian uttered in a low voice.Slit her wrist? Joan was shocked.
Why did she go to such extremes ?If that's the case, it means that Caspian can't act rashly now.
Larry stroked his chin thoughtfully.
That young lady’s pretty good at this. She's threatening to commit suicide so Caspian wouldn't leave her! Larry gripped the corner of his shirt as his expression darkened.
Still, he can't wrong Jessica just because of Lisa! Larry turned to face Caspian and glared at him disapprovingly.
"Jessica, what do you think about this?" Larry blurted out all of a sudden.
His voice was unnaturally loud.
"It's none of my business.I shall stay out of this, came Jessica's curt reply.
Indeed, her opinion didn't matter at all.She refused to interfere in this matter.
