Larry curled his lips into a smirk.

Looks like Caspian will fail to get her back.

"Why is it none of your business? If it wasn't for her, we would've already been..." Caspian muttered.

Jessica retorted loudly.

How dare he mention his promise?What a joke! "I have other matters to attend to.I need to get going"

Jessica announced and stormed out of the ward.

"Larry, what should I do?"

Caspian clutched Larry's arm in desperation.

What else is there to be done?Just play the waiting game! Time will solve everything.

"Can't you give me another chance?"

They were in a public place, but she couldn't be bothered as long as she could vent her anger and frustrations at him. Caspian's heart sank upon hearing her declaration. It dawned on him that things were over between them. He fidgeted nervously. I want to get back together with her, but it seems impossible now.

Seeing how despondent he was, Joan exhaled lightly, her expression tinged with disappointment.

They were a match made in heaven, but they were soon going to become strangers.Lisa's voice broke the tension.

"Caspian, I knew you'd be here."

"Your friend is also my friend. Of course, I should come and visit Joan. It's all your fault. Why didn't you tell me you're going to come to the hospital? I would've tagged along if I knew about this."
