After the satisfying meal, Matthew drove Lucy to work. When they got there, Lucy reluctantly parted with him.
“Matt, you should go to work now!”
Matthew looked at her and said, “I’ll leave after I watch you go inside. Go on.”
Knowing there was no use arguing with him, Lucy headed into the building. However, she could not help looking back at him.
Once her figure disappeared from his sight, Matthew drove away.
Back in her office, Lucy tidied up as usual before focusing on next month’s fashion show preparations.
“What do I think is the most beautiful?” Lucy muttered to herself at her desk.
Suddenly, someone pushed open the door, but Lucy did not notice. The person sneaked up on her and shouted loudly, startling Lucy as she let out a cry.
Once she calmed down, she turned around and saw that it was Koven.
“Koven, what are you doing here?” Lucy was confused, completely forgetting about her initial fright.
Koven chuckled at her confused look.
“Isn’t the Hype and Elegance Fashion Show next month? I came to see how your preparations are going.” Koven noticed the crumpled drafts scattered across the floor as he spoke.
Sighing, Lucy expressed her disappointment. “I really don’t know what beauty means to me. I’ve drawn so many drafts, but I haven’t felt inspired at all…”
