Everyone knew what the truth was.
Lucas was disappointed as well. He suddenly realized that Xenia was not who he thought she was. She cheated, lied, and tried to frame someone else. If not for the clear footage, he might not have believed that she would cheat!
Had he been misguided by her frequently in the past?
Lucas could barely bring himself to consider it. He couldn't even look Noelle in the eye as he fretted.
Xenia whined through sobs, "I didn't cheat. My friend pleaded with me to give her the answers. In a moment of weakness I…"
Before she finished speaking, Xenia passed out. When Noelle saw her pretending to faint, she rolled her eyes.
Donovan was worked up. "Xenia fainted. Get a doctor."
She grabbed his water and splashed it on Xenia's face.
Donovan said loudly, "Xenia has fainted already. What are you trying to do?"
She squeezed her eyes shut, refusing to wake up.
Noelle said, "You're not waking up? Alright then, boiling water it is."
Xenia was terrified. Her eyes immediately snapped open, only to realize Noelle had no boiling water on hand. She'd fallen into Noelle's trap.
Her features seized with awkwardness. Then, she said pitifully, "Noelle, what are you doing?"
"You fainted and I helped you wake up. You should thank me."
Noelle put the cup down and said, "Before you explain this, you shouldn't faint. If you pass out again, I'll shower you in piss."
Xenia was enraged. "How dare you treat me like that? I'm a victim in this situation. I shouldn't have given the answer to my friend. If I'd known the consequences would be so dire, I wouldn't have done it."
As long as she insisted that she was passing her answer to her friend, she would be able to twist it to her liking even if it was included in her record. No one could find out that she was trying to cheat!
Donovan loudly interjected, "That's enough. Stop arguing."
