"I just thought that she was growing more disobedient and wanted to teach her a lesson. Who knew she would really leave? She'll come back after she runs out of money."

"It's no use. I tried that already. Noelle is now a famous livestreamer. Her wages are considerable. I heard that her signing bonus was worth millions, not to mention how she's now state valedictorian. She might not need us anymore."

Lucas was regretful as well.

Donovan didn't know what to say. He hadn't expected to change that much. Upon seeing that things weren't going her way, Xenia pretended to faint. She needed to focus the room's attention on her so that Donovan helped her resolve the cheating issue!

Frank clutched his stomach in agony and ordered, "Go check who reported Noelle for cheating."

He felt like something was off.

"Alright, Frank. Your appendicitis is getting worse. You must be careful. Drink the medicine Xenia prepared for you."

Frank shook his head and said, "It's no use. Only the medicine Noelle prepared will work. I did some research. The medicine was prescribed by a famous pharmacist. Noelle used to care about me so much."

It was a pity. He didn't give a damn about her sacrifices.

"I'll go to the pharmacist and get another prescription."

"I've sent people to do that but he wouldn't prescribe it. Then only did I find out that she pleaded for this medicine from him and worked for him unpaid for a year. Only then did she get the medicine."

After Lucas heard this, he was dumbstruck. "We had no idea how much she did for us. I thought the medicine was easily obtained."

They even thought that her medicine wasn't of much use.

Frank said hoarsely with red-rimmed eyes, "Lucas, we missed too much."
