If all Noelle's family did was hold her back and stop her from beginning her new life, Cedric would forge a path for her. Anyone who stood in her way would be killed.

Noelle heard his voice and sniffled, "There's no need for that. I've resolved the problem myself. Don't piss my brother off. He isn't someone to be played with."

Donovan had always been a tyrant. She was scared he'd suffer in Donovan's heed. After all, he was powerful in Yasnia. Cedric didn't hail from a wealthy background. It was a David versus Goliath situation.

Cedric narrowed his eyes and asked, "Do you think I'm one to be toyed with?"

He didn't know whether to laugh or cry. For all these years, it had always been other people pissing him off. There was no one he couldn't contend with!

Cedric saw the concern in her eyes. He wanted to say something but swallowed it back.

After all, Donovan might've met him before. If he showed up, his identity would be revealed. Before he told her about who he was, he could interact with Noelle as friends. After he revealed his identity, he would no longer have the right to stay by her side.

Cedric admitted that he was shrinking back.

Noelle noticed that she was still clinging onto Cedric. She let him go slowly, looking a little awkward. "It's great that you're alright. Let's go home."

Today, she signed the contract to sever ties with the Liddells.

On the third floor of the hospital, Donovan stood in the corridor outside the emergency room, watching Noelle hug a man through the window.

However, he could only see the back of the man. His face was obscured.

Donovan frowned and said, "That's the medic, right? He shouldn't show up here."

His lackey reported, "Mr. Liddell, all the men we sent have gone missing. We can't contact them."
