As Noelle walked into the office, her gaze moved past Alfred to the man seated on the sofa. To her surprise, Cedric was there, too.
Alfred stepped aside with a welcoming gesture. "Come in. Let's pause everything to celebrate Noelle for her outstanding performance today!"
Noelle entered with a smile. "Liddell Corporation has lost its bid qualification. This time, we're guaranteed to win."
"Nelly, that shoulder throw of yours was incredible," Alfred added.
Noelle froze. "How do you know about that?"
He chuckled and said, "I wasn't there, but I have eyes everywhere."
Noticing Cedric's gaze, Noelle replied, "I've been practicing boxing lately."
"Where?" Cedric asked.
"At the gym. I've taken a lot of classes," she replied.
Cedric remembered she had mentioned going to the gym, but he hadn't expected it to be for boxing.
Noelle quickly changed the topic. "Should we have the lawyers handle Liddell Corporation's plagiarism of our ideas?"
"Of course," Alfred said. "Congratulations to you for becoming our youngest partner!"
He handed her a document. "Take a look. Let me know if you have any special requests for your benefits."
Noelle glanced at the contract. "You're making me a partner?"
"Exactly. After your outstanding performance, I'm sure big companies will try to poach you. I need to make sure we keep you here."
Noelle was a bit surprised. After reading through the document, she signed it. She wasn't losing out.
Alfred casually handed the contract to Cedric. "Alright, let's have a meeting."
Noelle noticed Cedric holding her contract. To her surprise, he joined them on their way to the meeting room.
Noelle sat with the tech team directly across from Cedric. She hadn't expected him to participate in the meeting.
