Blake piped up, "That's right, I remember very clearly, too. This script went through many revisions and discussions."
With Blake speaking up for Noelle, Xenia's speech now seemed even more insincere. People around them started murmuring.
"The worst thing anyone in the industry could possibly do is put someone else's name on a script we worked so hard on."
"Exactly! Why should our hard work be shared with others? How shameless."
Xenia's gaze darkened when she overheard the discussion. She could only look pitifully toward Donovan for help.
Donovan turned to Blake. "I saw Xenia participating in the scriptwriting. You can't just dismiss her."
"Donovan, I know you want Xenia to get some credit, but this script was written entirely by Noelle. It's wrong to force her name in." Blake didn't hold back in exposing Donovan.
Donovan felt awkward. After all, Blake was influential in the entertainment industry, so his words were far more convincing.
Blake stepped closer to Donovan. "Donovan, Xenia needs to practice more. She'll have plenty of chances in the future. But this script was written solely by Noelle, so let's celebrate her achievement first."
Although Donovan's expression darkened, he couldn't argue further. He walked off the stage with a stern face, snorting disdainfully as he passed by Noelle.
Noelle smirked as Donovan walked over to Xenia, seemingly trying to comfort her. But this time, she wouldn't let Xenia take what belonged to her.
Now, alone on stage, Blake addressed the audience. "Everyone knows I recently had two hit dramas and also had a dispute with my sister over an audition, which led to some rumors online. So today, I brought her here to clear up the misunderstanding."
Noelle's expression softened as she listened to Blake. In addition to reclaiming control over the entertainment company, Blake wanted to clarify the controversy surrounding the livestream incident.
