Blake spoke up. "Xenia, Noelle just came home, so you should accommodate her."

Frank chimed in as well. "Any seat is the same, no? You can sit here, Xenia."

Xenia was so angry that she burst into tears. Back then, she had always deliberately taken away Noelle's seat, and her older brothers had always spoken up for her. She never expected that one day, she would be the one on the receiving end.

Donovan remained silent. Xenia was left with no choice but to take another seat, still feeling wronged. Noelle noticed that Xenia was visibly displeased, which was what she wanted to see.

Gordon soon arrived to serve up the dishes along with other housekeepers.

Noelle's cutlery slipped from her hand and fell to the ground, so she looked up at Gordon and said, "Give me a new pair."

Gordon did as he was told and brought over a new pair of cutlery.

After taking a bite of the food, Noelle spat it out on the plate and said, "Gordon, is something wrong in the kitchen? How could you serve something so awful? Are you trying to tell me that I'm not welcome back home?"

Gordon was starting to lose his patience. "Ms. Noelle, all the dishes were prepared by the head chef. There's no way that they would taste bad."

Her gaze carried a hint of mockery. "It tastes bad to me. Looks like you're not doing your job well enough. I suggest replacing our butler."

Xenia quickly interjected her. "Gordon's been with our family for over a decade! Everyone's already used to having him around! How can you just replace him like that?"

Noelle was adamant. "He changed the front gate's password without permission and even tampered with stuff that our parents left behind. I don't think someone like that is fit to work for the Liddell family. I don't want to see him again."

Donovan was at a loss for words, so he turned to look at Frank.

Frank spoke up. "Since Noelle doesn't like Gordon, we'll just hire someone else. But considering that Gordon's been with us for over a decade, let's just send him back to our old home in Aldoria.

"He doesn't have to stay here with us any longer. What do you think, Donovan?"
