"That's enough, Cedric! Can't you see that you're just being annoying?" Noelle replied.
She shot him a glance before turning to see Raymond on the chair with his head tilted up. She walked over and asked, "Raymond, are you okay? Is your nose still bleeding?"
"It's much better now," Raymond replied.
He noticed Cedric was still standing next to Noelle, so he asked, "Wanna head back to campus together later?"
"Yeah, let me treat you to a meal at the cafeteria. I'm really sorry for today," she replied.
"It's no problem."
He could tell that Noelle did not want to talk to Cedric beside her, so he stood up and said, "Let's go now, or there won't be any food left at the cafeteria."
Noelle nodded in agreement and was ready to leave when Cedric grabbed her by the arm. "We're not done talking yet."
Cedric did not want to let her go. He had a bad feeling that if she left, their relationship would be over.
Noelle frowned and said, "Let go of me."
Cedric remained stubborn. "I'm not letting you go."
Raymond stepped forward and said, "Can't you see that Noelle doesn't want you bothering her? At least have some self-awareness."
Cedric glared at him and replied, "You'd better stay far away from her."
With that, he lifted Noelle onto his shoulder and carried her back to the boxing area.
Raymond wanted to intervene, but the gym's owner stopped him. "What do you think you're doing?"
"I'm going to help!" Raymond replied.
"Help with what exactly? That man ain't your average Joe! He bought this gym just so that he could practice boxing with Noelle!"
