"Isn't she playing with you?" Magnus asked.

Cedric gritted his teeth and replied, "No."

Magnus immediately realized that something was off as he stammered, "But she's been playing with this guy for the past two days, and they've been playing nonstop. I thought it was you!"

Cedric's expression darkened completely after looking at the screenshot Magnus had sent him. He wondered if that was the reason why Noelle had been ignoring him.

Magnus continued, "Cedric, did you two have a fight or something? Maybe this is just one of her esports team members at the base, and they're just training together."

It took Cedric a long while to reply. "We argued a little with each other."

"Is she angry at you after you told her about your true identity?"

"No, it's because I didn't reply to her messages in time. Grandma fell ill two days ago, and I also had some urgent matters to attend to at the company. I only got around to replying to her messages the next day."
