No More Waiting, She Chooses Love novel Chapter 791

"Mom," Fanny chuckled helplessly, "Is today Grandpa's birthday party or my matchmaking session?"

"Why can't it be both?" Joie, with her bold and cheerful personality, declared. "Just keep your eyes open. My daughter is gorgeous and talented; finding a boyfriend should be a piece of cake."

Fanny sighed, "Alright, you go ahead. I'll catch up with Felicia. She brought a gift for Grandpa."

Using that as an excuse, Fanny sidled over to me. I'd already overheard her conversation with her mom. I gave her a teasing smile, "Your mom's pretty open-minded! Remember what you told me? The best way to get over a relationship is to start a new one."

"Okay, if I spot someone interesting, I'll make my move," Fanny said just as Sinclair caught my eye.

He was dressed in a dark suit, with a black shirt underneath. The open collar revealed his pale skin, the contrast making him look both refined and unapproachable.

"Your uncle is quite the looker," I remarked, impressed.

Fanny followed my gaze, nodding in agreement, "He was always popular with the girls. Back in school, I used to collect love letters for him."

Who wouldn't be attracted to someone as handsome as Sinclair?

"Has he ever dated anyone?" I asked, curious.

Fanny thought for a moment, "No, he hasn't."

"Then he probably has someone irreplaceable in his heart," I speculated, making Fanny give me a look that seemed to ask 'What makes you say that?'

She nodded, though, hitting me with a sharp observation, "Oh, I almost forgot about your extensive dating experience."

"Ouch, are you trying to wound me here? Do you even want my help?" I joked, just as Sinclair approached us.

Fanny stood as if at attention, making me laugh. "Really? You two were like siblings growing up. Why act like he's a big scary monster now?"
