Chapter 446 That Was Her Private Collection
Zachary chuckled. “So, you get to do whatever you want, huh?”
“Oh? You won't allow it?” Lenora raised an eyebrow.
Zachary leaned toward her, with one knee resting on the bed. “Let me see how the picture turned out.”
Lenora's candid shot is remarkable! It's so much better than the ones from yesterday!
“Not bad, right?” She glanced at him, clearly waiting for his praise.
Zachary raised an eyebrow. “What if I wanted to use this picture in a magazine?”
“Absolutely not.” Lenora rejected resolutely.
“Why not?”
Lenora put away her phone and said self-righteously, “You're featured in a business magazine, so this photo doesn't fit the theme. It would have been fine if it was for an entertainment magazine.”
She does have a point. It's her private collection, after all.
Zachary buttoned up the top of his shirt.
Upon glancing at him, Lenora had a thought. She climbed out of bed and made a dash for the living room. “My phone's out of battery. I'm going to grab the charger.”
Unaware of anything out of the ordinary, Zachary casually grabbed the tie hanging on the back of a chair and tied a Windsor knot.
“Zachary.”
Zachary turned toward her at the sound of her voice.
Click.
Lenora was holding up the camera and pointing it at him.
In the photograph, Zachary was adjusting his tie, and he had a serious expression as he looked at the camera. His countenance was calm, and his eyes were resolute yet filled with gentleness. She couldn't help but drown in them.
Lenora, the master photographer, had begun to work.
She hadn’t even had time to change. She was still wearing an ultra-short slip dress that barely reached her thighs, her bare feet pressed against the floor. Her round, adorable big toe overlapped her second toe as she stood there, holding her camera with a serious expression.
“What other shots do you want to take?” Zachary asked helplessly.
“Do whatever you want. Just pretend I'm not here.”
Lenora wanted to capture the image through candid photography.
Zachary chuckled, then strode toward the bathroom.
Lenora quickly tested the aperture and shutter speed, adjusting the parameters. She then took two steps back and snapped Zachary's full-body candid shot.
As soon as he stepped into the bathroom, Zachar noticed she was still holding the camera. He couldn't help but laugh. “Are you planning to take a photo of me here?”
Lenora was at a loss for words.
“No. There's no need.”
Lenora was standing by the bathroom door, camera in hand, when she suddenly heard the sound of running water from inside.
Realizing what was happening, she blushed and subtly took a few steps back.
After Zachary finished freshening up in the bathroom, he headed straight to the kitchen. He took out a pot, filled it with water, and was about to place it on the stove when Lenora accidentally bumped into him. She was so engrossed in adjusting some settings on her camera that she didn't see where she was going.
Zachary held the pot firmly, but water still spilled over, wetting the floor and his shirt.
“Are you okay?” Lenora asked, noticing a damp patch on his shirt that subtly revealed the contours of the muscles underneath.
“Don't worry about it. I'll change my clothes in a bit.”
He filled a fresh pot of water, switched the stove on, covered the pot, and set some oats aside.
“I'm going to change my clothes.”
“I'll go with you,” Lenora said, her camera at the ready, itching to follow him.
Suddenly, Zachary stopped in his tracks, turned around, and gave her a once-over.
Her nightgown barely covered her hips, revealing her smooth, fair thighs.
Even though we're the only ones on this floor, what if someone happens to walk past the stairs when we step out that door?
Lenora looked down briefly and said, “Give me a second!”
She casually pulled a slightly longer shirt dress from her wardrobe and slipped it on. Grabbing her camera, she announced, “I'm ready.”
With that, she followed him into the bedroom next door.
She then chose a spot with great natural light. Right when he was about to undress after taking out a new shirt from his wardrobe, she said, “Stand here and take off your tie first.”
Zachary did as he was told. His slender fingers grazed the collar, inch by inch, slowly loosening the tie. Yet, his eyes were fixed intently on the camera as if he were hooking the viewers in; the teasing was relentless. It was as if he were looking straight into Lenora's eyes through the lens.
“Should I continue?” Zachary asked, his voice slightly hoarse as he slowly removed his belt.
Lenora was taken aback, “N-No. That's not necessary.”
“I think I should,” he responded with a smile.
“Huh?”
Lenora looked into his eyes, and by the time she realized something was amiss, it was already too late to escape.
He had his way with her even without removing a single piece of her clothing.
After it was over, Lenora was panting heavily and drenched in sweat.
Zachary carried her back, belatedly remembering he had left a pot of water boiling in the kitchen.
He walked over and took a look. The pot was nearly dry, with only a small amount of water left.
Zachary was rendered speechless.
He had no choice but to add some more cold water.
While using the restroom, Lenora noticed a trace of blood, accompanied by a slight pain in her lower abdomen.
I guess my period's here.
Ever since she had lost her child, her period had become irregular and unpredictable, which explained why she never bothered keeping track of the dates.
That was also the reason why Zachary was there.
With their misunderstanding resolved, many matters were awaiting his attention at Fuller Group. He had purchased a ticket for the following day to return to his home country.
The two dined in a private room at a restaurant downtown at noon.
In the middle of their lunch, Zachary went to the restroom.
“It's you!”
Upon seeing Zachary, Isla's eyes narrowed as she suddenly recalled their encounter a few months ago on a flight to Archulea.
That handsome face was something she couldn't get over.
Therefore, she immediately recognized him. Her eyes brimming with surprise and delight as she hurried over to greet him. “Do you still remember me?”
