No Remarriage for us Stay Away (Lenora and Zachary) novel Chapter 505

Chapter 505 In Your Name
“Don't worry, it's enough, and it won't cost you anything.”

“Do you have that much money?” Sophia's eyes lit up in surprise.

Zephyr was once a penniless kid who depended on financial aid to pay his tuition fees in high school. Yet, within seven years, even with discounts and support from Matthew, he must have accumulated at least over eighty million.

Does venture capital really make that much money?

“Not really. After buying the house, I'd have to starve myself.”

“No worries, I can cover the rent!” Sophia generously offered.

In no time, the saleswoman approached them with a smile. She presented the property purchase agreement and handed them a pen. “Mr. Yankovich, Ms. Tortell, please sign the agreement.”

Zephyr took the pen and handed it to Sophia. “You sign it.”

Sophia froze, glancing at the pen in her hand and then back at Zephyr. She pointed at her nose. “Me?”

“Mm-hmm.” Zephyr nodded. “The property deed will be in your name.”

Upon hearing this, the saleswoman nearby cast an envious glance at Sophia.

Her boyfriend is handsome and wealthy, not to mention extremely generous. Why haven't I encountered such a man?

Sophia was surprised. She fiddled with the pen and shyly said, “How could I accept that?”

“It's a gift for you. Just sign it.”

“All right then,” Sophia said, her face showing a mix of resignation and helplessness. Trying to hide her smile, she quickly signed her name.

Internally, she was doubled over, laughing uproariously without a shred of grace. Outwardly, however, she maintained her poise. She set down the pen, adjusted a strand of hair near her temples, and looked at Zephyr. “Okay, no take-backs now.”

“Of course.” Zephyr observed her, finding her expression—caught between wanting to laugh and trying to hold it back—irresistibly amusing.

The saleswoman brought over the card machine.

Zephyr pulled out his wallet, drew out a black card, and handed it to her. “No password.”

The saleswoman swiped the card, and the card machine printed out a receipt. Zephyr then signed his name on it.

The saleswoman began gathering all the documents and placing them into a folder. “Mr. Yankovich, Ms. Tortell, Mansion No. 7 of River Creek Residences is now yours. Here are the keys and the access card. Please keep them safe. Normally, the gate uses facial recognition for unlocking. Later, you can both record your facial details at property management. Additionally, we'll need a photocopy of your ID, Ms. Tortell, for the property deed. Did you bring your ID with you?”

“Yes.”

Sophia rummaged through her bag, pulling out her wallet. She handed her ID to the saleswoman while casually asking, “When can we expect the property deed to be finalized?”

“Once everything is settled in about two weeks, I'll get in touch with the two of you.”

The saleswoman made a quick photocopy, then returned Sophia's ID card. “All done. You two can now go and check out your new home.”

“Thank you.”

“I'm so excited!”

After leaving the sales office, Sophia twirled around in joy. Her eyes sparkled brightly, and her lips held a smile that just wouldn't fade.

Though she wasn't certain if Zephyr could reclaim the house through a lawsuit, the fact that she now owned a mansion of considerable value made her happy.

Zephyr adjusted his glasses and stepped forward with a smile. “Let's go. Let's check out our new home.”

“Okay.”

Sophia laughed, showing off her pearly white teeth. She playfully nudged Zephyr with her elbow, her eyes sparkling with amusement as she tilted her head to look at him. “Hey, Zephyr, what made you decide to put the property in my name?”
