No Remarriage for us Stay Away (Lenora and Zachary) novel Chapter 510

Chapter 510 Completely Absorbed
This would be Lenora's first time photographing a couple.

Even though she knew that Sophia and Zephyr's marriage was a sham, she still paid utmost attention, carefully listening to Sophia's words.

Last night, she had skimmed through some advice posts in a last-minute attempt to prepare. The suggested couple's poses were limited, so ultimately, it was up to them to improvise.

Having worked as a makeup artist for quite some time, Sophia had developed her own insights on looking good on camera. “I've been browsing through photos from various bridal photography studios online. Many of the poses are not only stiff but also incredibly overused.”

She showed Lenora some photos.

It was always the man's arm wrapped around the woman's waist or the woman resting her head on the man's shoulder, and so on.

“But I think the older generation would appreciate this, right? Let's take a few photos for my parents first, then we can do whatever we want with the rest.”

“Okay.”

“I prefer something more natural, with a bit of interaction. Something like this...”

Sophia showed Lenora a few more photos that she was fond of.

In one of the pictures, a boy and a girl were captured trotting hand in hand down a tree-lined path as the sun was setting. Their vibrant smiles and the warm, intimate atmosphere made it clear that the shot was candid.

When they arrived at the photography studio, Zephyr was already waiting by the door of the makeup room. He was accompanied by two assistants, each holding a bag; one containing spare clothes and the other filled with outdoor shooting equipment.

Zephyr's hairstyle was meticulously styled, with not a single strand out of place.

He was dressed in a neat, well-fitted black suit, his tall and proportionate figure exuding elegance. He leaned against the wall with a relaxed demeanor.

Upon hearing footsteps, he lifted his head. His gaze momentarily paused on Sophia before he nodded at Lenora.

Lenora also nodded at him as a form of greeting.

Sophia gave Zephyr a few glances before silently approaching him. She reached out and pinched the ends of his hair, whispering, “It's stiff.”

“It's been sprayed with hairspray.”

His outfit, at first glance, was clearly meticulously put together.

Sophia raised an eyebrow, suddenly noticing that Zephyr's glasses were without lenses. She saw that he had switched to a more refined frame that perched alone on the bridge of his nose. She gave him a teasing look. “Wearing contacts now?”

“Yeah.”

Zephyr adjusted the glasses and said, “The lenses can reflect light.”

Lenora observed the interaction between the two and cleared her throat. “Soph, grab your clothes. Let's head to the fitting room first.”

“Okay.”

Sophia took the special bag containing the wedding dress from the assistant and headed to the fitting room with Lenora. Afterward, she went to the makeup room to touch up her look and style her hair before the photoshoot began.

The first shot was taken against a solid color background.

Lenora started by having them stand together for a few shots. After making some adjustments to the camera and the fill light, she said, “Okay, Zephyr, move a bit closer to Soph. Place your right hand on her waist. Perfect. Now, smile and look at the camera...”

The photos were undeniably beautiful, but there was a noticeable degree of stiffness.

“Stand face to face, you two. Zephyr, lean in and kiss Soph's forehead. Keep it natural. Soph, rest your hand on Zephyr's shoulder and lift your head slightly. Yes...”

Sophia and Zephyr turned around and positioned themselves as Lenora had suggested.

Zephyr's lips gently brushed Sophia's forehead, bringing a sensation of warmth and softness.

They were extremely close, and Sophia could faintly hear his strong, steady heartbeat.

Sophia and her first love, Zephyr, were having their wedding photos taken.

After taking some traditional poses, Sophia suggested changing outfits.

The reason was simple. Even the most natural actions, when performed in an elaborate wedding dress, tend to appear more formal.

After changing her clothes, Sophia switched to a more casual look.

“Soph, what was your true intention behind the contract marriage and the wedding photos? It's to appease your parents, making them think that you and Zephyr are genuinely together, isn't it?”

After giving it some serious thought, Sophia responded, “Right.”

She had forgotten her original intention for the wedding photos. Instead, she was genuinely choosing them as if they were her actual wedding pictures with Zephyr, completely absorbed in the moment.

They hadn't even held their wedding yet, and she was already this invested. One could only imagine that shortly after their wedding, she would be completely swept off her feet by Zephyr.

He was incredibly cunning, always managing to lead her astray without her even realizing it.

Feeling a weight on her heart, Sophia made a resolution. “I get it now. I'll try to avoid seeing Zephyr as much as possible before the wedding.”

“I didn't mean it that way. I just hope that if you do reconcile with Zephyr, it will be because of careful consideration, not due to the confusion you feel right now.”

“I understand.”

After leaving the police station, Jasmine settled herself in the back seat of the car.

A few minutes later, her assistant hurried over, opened the passenger door, and got into the car. “Mrs. Hoffman, I've found out that the girl brought in by the police is Matthew's niece. She holds grudges against Ms. Wilkin and Ms. Tortell. She orchestrated Ms. Tortell's kidnapping but was caught in the act.”

After the assistant finished speaking, Jasmine remained silent for a long moment. When he looked up at her, he saw her eyes cast down, her expression blank with astonishment.

The assistant, aware of her relationship with Lenora, assumed she was worried about her. So, he reassured her, “Don't worry, Mrs. Hoffman. Ms. Wilkin is fine.”

Lifting her gaze, Jasmine asked, “Did you just say that the girl is Matthew's niece?”

The assistant hesitated before nodding, puzzled as to why she was inquiring about someone else.

“Is she his biological niece?” Jasmine questioned.

The Xenos family was wealthy and influential. Besides having a younger sister, Matthew also had several cousins, some of whom lived domestically, while others resided abroad.

“I'm not entirely sure,” the assistant replied. “But I did overhear someone mention that the girl is of mixed race. Her name is Isla Wilson.”

As he spoke, he couldn't help but critique inwardly. It seems that Ms. Wilson resembles her mother more. Outwardly, she doesn't look mixed at all and completely looks like someone of Clusian descent.
