Within half a day, Marcus filed a report with the Capital Guard. He claimed a VIP guest at the hot spring had recently lost an ancient wolf sigil ring bought at a high price at auction, and he asked the Guard to help find it.

When they asked for the guest’s identity, Marcus refused to give any details. He only said it was a retired, high-ranking werewolf official.
