A Life Beyond Limits (Jack Holland) novel Chapter 920

Faced with the ferocious Neil, Cody didn't stand a chance. He was barely able to breathe, completely helpless under the beating.

Nearby, Nelson, Wilhelmina, and the others were frozen in fear. They were sheltered and pampered all their lives, unprepared for violence like this.

Nelson had still been trying to act tough just moments ago, but after watching Cody scream in agony, his legs began to shake uncontrollably.

"Are you going to kneel and call me 'Daddy?'" Leo asked, cracking his knuckles as he slowly advanced on Nelson and the others.

"D-Don't come any closer! I'll kneel!" Nelson stammered.

With a loud thump, he dropped to his knees and pleaded with Jack and the others.

"Daddy… I was wrong. Please, don't hit me."

Nelson had caved to avoid the beating. He was nothing but a spineless coward now. So much for dignity. In the face of overwhelming power, it meant nothing.

Seeing Nelson give in, the others hesitated for a moment, then slowly followed suit—Wilhelmina included. However, her eyes were brimming with tears. This was the most humiliating moment of her life.

She swore to herself that if she could get out of this today, she would pay Jack back a hundredfold for this disgrace.

Jack could see the hatred in Wilhelmina's eyes, but he didn't care in the slightest. He didn't just want to trample her pride; he wanted to humiliate her over and over again until she was terrified of him and unable to look him in the eye.

Jack was going to be Wilhelmina's nightmare—someone she could never forget, someone who would make her feel utterly worthless whenever she remembered him. Only then would she truly understand who she could afford to cross.

"You worthless trash. Get lost!"

If Jack stayed on, they would've been swarmed by staff and die-hard World Empire fans, making it nearly impossible to leave.

In the end, they didn't get to play on the computer, and barely finished their pool games. Jack had drawn too much attention. Wherever he went, he caused a stir.

The group had no choice but to flee the venue. Once outside, Charlotte took a deep breath and suddenly turned to Jack and asked, "What's going on between you and that woman?"

She hadn't forgotten what Wilhelmina had said back in the billiard hall, something about how their relationship would be broken beyond repair if Jack went through with it.

Clearly, they knew each other. And it sounded like there was history there.

Were they a couple? But judging by the way Jack treated Wilhelmina, it didn't seem like it.
