At the thought of Joseph, she had the urge to kill him. “Joseph? He has that much influence? What did he do?” Jenna was surprised. She couldn’t help thinking that the conflict between Joseph and Yara was far more complicated than she had realized.

Yara sneered. “While Joseph was treating Yelena’s and Peyton’s families, he had them go after my company. They wrecked my laboratories and warehouses. And it gets worse. He rammed one of my blood transport vehicles and called the police. Now, the police are watching the base.

“Aside from that, the two children who disappeared from the transport vehicle ended up in his hands. He reported that too. If he hadn’t, no one would have ever found out what we were doing.”

Jenna asked, “So, are you planning to arrange a car accident and kill him?”

“No, he’s connected to too many people now. I can’t get rid of him that way anymore. Mr. Zahn Senior is busy dealing with the Croma faction, so he doesn’t have the attention to spare for Joseph right now. Let Joseph live for a few more days,” said Yara.
