Chapter 457

“None are a match!” Joseph mumbled.

The next day, Joseph looked over the preliminary test results. None of the biological samples matched his daughters’. That meant none of those men were biologically related to his daughters.

Of course, these were only the rapid screening results. The one with the highest level of accuracy would take up to three days. Still, the final test report wasn’t likely to differ much from the preliminary findings.

Although Joseph was waiting for the test results, he crossed those names off his list. The list of suspects had now shrunk from eight to five.

Over the next couple of days, more biological samples would arrive. Once they did, Joseph could test every remaining suspect. He knew there was no point in rushing.

Just then, Joseph received a call from Jenna, telling him to go to Traditional Medicine Center. There was a consultation on Yara’s ALS treatment.

Joseph made up an excuse and declined. What was Yara to him? Why would he save her?

After finishing his work, Joseph was about to catch a quick nap when Dwight arrived at the clinic. Dwight was tall with a strong build, and his voice was deep. Only a man like him could keep Mandy, who was six feet tall and 200 pounds in weight, in check.

Still, Joseph’s first thought was that Dwight was only three inches long, which wasn’t enough to reach inside Mandy.

Dwight entered the office and closed the door. Then, he exchanged a few pleasantries before asking about Marie’s

treatment.

Joseph first checked on Yelena’s situation before patiently answering every question. When Joseph finished, Dwight still hadn’t left. So, Joseph asked, “Do you need something else?”

Lowering his voice, Dwight said, “When my wife came to see you, why did you tell her the problem was with me?”

Joseph was confused. “I never said it was your problem. I said it was something you two should work on together, which is why I told her to discuss it with you.”

“Why did you say I was only this big? Do you know how much trouble it gave me?” Dwight questioned, holding up three fingers.

Because of that, Mandy had teased Dwight relentlessly at home. Every time she saw him, she would flash that three-finger sign with a mischievous grin. He felt extremely embarrassed.

Joseph replied, “I told you to see a urologist. They have ways to address your concerns. Honestly, you’re worrying too much. Yelena told me that you have children outside your marriage. It proves everything functions normally. There’s no reason to carry a psychological burden.”

“Is there really nothing you can do?” Dwight asked.

Dwight noticed that Joseph spoke without having much expression, which meant that Joseph wasn’t mocking Dwight at all. Since Joseph remained composed, Dwight thought that Joseph was someone great, making Dwight respect Joseph more.

Joseph answered, “No.”

Treating such problems could make a fortune, but it wasn’t the kind Joseph wanted to devote himself to.

Not long after Dwight left, Yelena arrived. With concern, she asked, “Joseph, are you alright? Did Dwight do anything to you?”

Joseph replied, “We don’t have any grudge against each other. He had no reason to make things difficult for me.”
