There was another patient in the hospital who interested Joseph. It was Bruce. Kenneth and his people had managed to get Bruce without much difficulty.

Bruce was a sports enthusiast. Whether he was playing basketball or soccer, he always gave it his all. During one of the games, Kenneth’s people had easily slipped something into his drink.

Aside from that, Bruce had bought a new car and loved washing it himself. He kept plenty of drinks inside, and since he hated wasting anything, he would always finish whatever was left. He also frequently hosted gatherings at his home, and beverages were constantly delivered to his villa.

Joseph didn’t follow them inside. Instead, he stopped outside the door and listened quietly. Emma said, “Ms. Lowell, don’t you think Mr. Byers’ condition looks exactly like what happened to Frank? In my opinion, Joseph is behind this too.”

Cora replied, “You’re right. Joseph did this. He’s insane. Now, we have to find him and make him come back. He has to save these people to make up for what he has done.”

Emma muttered, “Do you think he’ll come back and save anyone? I doubt it.”

Cora insisted, “I believe he will. He won’t hide forever. He’ll show himself eventually. When he does, I’ll give him the chance to make things right.”

Upon hearing that, Joseph understood everything. He thought, “Do you think I need you to give me a chance? You had better worry about yourself. When your turn comes, I hope you’re still this confident.”

Even so, Joseph suppressed the urge to storm into the ward and confront Cora. He couldn’t expose himself yet, so without making a sound, he walked away.

Not wanting to run into Cora, Joseph clocked out early. He picked up dinner from the cafeteria and returned to his dorm to rest.

Meanwhile, Cora continued searching the entire city for Joseph. She didn’t return to the villa until late that night. The moment she walked inside, she noticed that her parents had grim expressions.
