Chapter 611
ou slut. Trying to seduce me again?” Joseph thought with contempt.
Still, he was in no rush to stop Yara. Only when she lost all self-control and lifted the bedsheet did he finally put a halt to it. He wanted to tease her when she wanted him most.
Joseph made up excuses on the spot–her health wouldn’t allow it, the hospital room lacked privacy, and they should save themselves for their wedding night.
As he spoke, he massaged her legs. She was already aroused, and a little pressure on her most sensitive spots sent her right back to cloud nine.
Yara felt completely satisfied. She even promised Joseph she’d get better, but he knew she wouldn’t. Otherwise, he wouldn’t be able to make her pay the price. Once he had calmed her down, he would let her continue with her
treatment.
Before Yara drifted off to sleep, Joseph said, “Mr. Zahn mentioned Natalie earlier. That’s not my fault. She saw me as an easy target. There’s no way I’d dare cross her.”
“Asking for a little money is fine. Cora has plenty to spare anyway,” Yara said with a soft chuckle. “Just don’t go too far. I’m afraid having money will spoil you. And if that happens, even if my brother doesn’t castrate you, I will.
With her desire fading, she began thinking about how to keep Joseph under control. To her, he was a rare catch-a man who satisfied her deepest desires. She needed to keep him on a short leash.
Joseph replied, “I get it. I want the money to buy a car, so it’ll be more convenient for us to get around in the future. Besides, my scooter can’t carry all the love you have for me.”
“You really know how to sweet-talk,” Yara scoffed, though she loved hearing it. “Once I’m better, you can drive whatever you want.”
Joseph leaned in and asked, “If Cora is as rich as you say, why doesn’t your brother just marry her?”
“Do you think she is worthy of him?” Yara asked.
“Well, putting her money aside, her family can’t compare to yours. But then again, she did give your brother three daughters. They’re the flesh and blood of the Zahn family. Shouldn’t he at least give her a proper place in the family?”
“Giving my brother children is the greatest blessing she could ever hope for.” Yara snorted, clearly displeased with Cora.
“And what about the kids?” Joseph asked. “They’re your nieces, after all. Are you telling me you won’t acknowledge them? You can’t let them keep the last name Hart, can you?”
“How could children of the Zahn family possibly bear the name Hart? What are you even thinking?” Yara retorted. She looked at him and added, “Henry, when we have children in the future, they’ll take my last name too. Got it?”
“I know,” Joseph reassured her. “Yara, the very moment you gave me a chance, I’d already decided our baby’s last name would be yours.’
“If you keep being this sensible, I might just let you have a kid on the side,” Yara said, her eyes softening. “Strictly through IVF, though. You’re not allowed to touch another woman. That child can take your last name to carry on the Jebb family line. See? I’m not completely heartless.”

Joseph let out a self-deprecating laugh. “No need for that. I’m too ugly to leave behind offspring. If you ever bear
y-child and it ends up looking as hideous as I do, I’d have to give it away.”
