Joseph replied calmly, “Of course. It’s not like there’s some enormous personal grudge between us. I simply want to know why you infiltrated the Lowell family and what Yara ordered you to do to me.”

Shayna said, “Yes, I was forced to do everything by Yara’s orders. If I didn’t obey her, she would have killed me. Joseph, there’s no reason for you to bear a grudge against me. Just let me go.”
