Chapter 667
Joseph received the latest updates from his informants and learned that Cora had left the Lowell Group in terrible shape. During a small executive meeting at the company, Marlin had once again confronted Cora and demanded that she hand over control of the Lowell Group.
Marlin and the others subsequently left the company as well, but they went straight to Jenton University Hospital. They were there to pressure Bernard, demanding that he hand over the shares he held.
Before noon, the office door was pushed open, and Natalie walked in.
She went straight to Joseph. “I want to see Dad. Take me to him.”
Joseph replied, “Your mother told us you’re not allowed to see him. Besides, what are you offering him in exchange for seeing him?”
Natalie frowned. “Don’t push it! I already gave you five million, and I even gave you my sports car. What more do you want? Don’t be so greedy. My mom doesn’t care about me anymore. She told me to come here and acknowledge my father.”
Natalie was extremely unhappy with Joseph constantly demanding money from her.
Joseph replied, “You shouldn’t think you’re the one losing out just because I’m taking your money. Let’s be honest, you’ll get much more if you see your father. However, I’can’t believe your mother is letting you go.”
Joseph called Cora and asked, “Natalie is standing right in front of me. She says you’ve agreed to let her go see her father?”
On the other end, Cora replied, “She’s grown up. Let her do whatever she wants. If there’s nothing else, I’m hanging up.”
Joseph asked, “So you admit what happened between you and Skylar. Does that mean everything you said before is no longer valid?”
There was silence on the other end before Cora hung up.
Was Cora finally going to face reality? They were Skylar’s children hom the beginning, but she wanted to force them on Joseph. There was no way Joseph would accept that.
After thinking for a moment, Joseph took Natalie to Skylar’s hospital room.
“Dad, I’m here to see you. How are you feeling?” Natalie immediately walked over to Skylar and greeted him.
“Natalie, you’re here!” Skylar’s face broke into a smile when he saw Natalie. Despite his poor condition, his gaze remained gentle.
Blood truly was thicker than water.
Joseph could feel how natural their interaction was. Natalie treated Skylar as her biological father, while Skylar treated her as his biological daughter. With that blood connection between them, there was no sense of distance or awkwardness; everything simply felt natural.
“Dad, you’ll definitely get better,” Natalie said.
“I think so, too.” Skylar nodded.

Then, he looked toward Joseph. “Henry, when you get back, return all the money you took from Natalie. She’s your niece, too. You shouldn’t be taking her money. You should give some of the money you’ve been taking care of for us to Natalie, too.”
Natalie’s eyes lit up.
She turned to Joseph and said, “You heard what my dad said, right? You have to return the twenty million I gave you and that car.”
That little brat. When did she ever give him 20 million dollars? She was such a shameless extortionist. But this was precisely what Joseph expected from that money-grubbing opportunist,
Skylar, however, took Natalie’s words at face value. He glared at Joseph. “You actually dared to demand 20 million dollars from her?”
