Fiona said, “Ms. Lowell told me to take some time off and get treatment. I’m waiting for good news from her too.”

Joseph asked, “What kind of good news?”

Fiona answered, “For Joseph to show up. He noticed my condition last year and said it could be treated, but I didn’t take him seriously at the time. He should still be able to treat me.”

Joseph questioned, “Can’t the hospitals in Jenton treat it? Couldn’t you consult specialists somewhere else?”

Fiona stared at Joseph and stated, “Henry, if I had these two removed, would you still think I was beautiful? Would you still be interested in me?”

Joseph responded, “No, you would be just like me. What’s there to enjoy?”

Fiona replied, “Can’t you tell that Ms. Lowell has always loved Joseph?”

Joseph responded, “I can’t tell. All I know is that Cora cheated on Joseph and had three children who aren’t his. If I

Fiona snorted. “You make it sound like I would have agreed to have your child.”

Joseph chuckled. “I know my own limits.”

Joseph noticed Cora approaching in a car with a nanny. He said, “Look. Cora brought her three daughters to meet Skylar. A family of five would make anyone jealous.”

Fiona stated, “Ms. Lowell is deliberately putting on a show for Joseph. She assumes he must have informants watching her. She wants him to get angry and jealous so that he’ll reveal himself.”
