Fairfax left without another word.
Darleen wanted to storm back to Starla’s room and demand an explanation, to make her pay. She wanted to kill her! But bodyguards were now stationed outside Starla’s door, blocking her entry. If she dared to shout, they would drag her away without a second thought, only releasing her once she was far from the room.
…
Inside her room, Brinley had been vibrating with excitement ever since Darleen went to speak with Fairfax, though she was careful not to show it in front of Xenia. She had barely eaten all day, sipping water to stave off the hunger pangs.
Xenia, aware of her suffering, tried to comfort her. “Don’t worry, Brinley. Once we get to Luwood Mountain, we’ll make sure you have everything you need to recover properly.”
“I’m just worried Starla will be upset,” Brinley said with false concern.
“Why are you still thinking about her?” Xenia scoffed. “She’s the one who crossed the line this time. Look at what she’s done to all of us! And all my properties…”
Xenia didn’t know the total number of properties the Yelchins had lost, but the thought that every single one that had been in her name was now gone was a sharp, painful blow. So many valuable assets, destroyed without a second thought. It was easy for Starla not to care when they weren’t hers!
“We’re going to Luwood Mountain,” Xenia declared fiercely. “Fairfax gave it to her, so we could never claim it before. But this time, we’re taking it for good.”
Of all the properties they had taken from Starla, Luwood Mountain was the one Xenia coveted most. The scenery was breathtakingly beautiful.
When Darleen still didn't speak, Xenia pressed, “Did Fairfax say no?”
Silence again.
“What does he mean, no? Given the state of things, it’s obvious we can’t all keep living together. With Starla’s personality right now, who could stand her?” Xenia huffed, annoyed at the thought of Fairfax siding with Starla.
Was it because Luwood Mountain was designed for her? Then he should take her back there. What was the point of keeping her here when she was acting like a rabid animal?
Brinley also frowned at Darleen. “Mom, what did Fairfax say?”

Why The ML is Idiot 😂😂😂 i Dont understand,i Think herbert is more suitable to become the ML he is most compose and calm than the ML 😂😂...
"You're a failure as a husband and coward as a Man" This is what i want to say in Fairfax hahaha you dont deserved a wife if you cant protect her...
Hahaha This plot of story i hate about, choosing another girl instead of your own wife is something unreal, you didnt considered your wife feeling, you didnt even trust her and later on you will say sorry?? Was sorry will fixed everything you've done? Was sorry fixed her heart? it was unfair for your wife, you must choose your wife whatever it is. You know your wife well more than anyone else and the only person she should lean on was the person who pushes her away...
