Abandoned by All I Took It All Back novel Chapter 94

But what was the result?

He would rather believe an outsider than his own wife. He even went out of his way to protect Iris, as if he was afraid Summer would hurt her.

Summer pulled out her phone and called Vincent, wanting to ask him about the frozen cards. He knew she had no money on her; cutting her off was like leaving her for dead.

But she called several times, and he didn't pick up.

So she tried his secretary, but now even the secretary wouldn't answer her calls.

Summer didn't give up. On the eighth try, the secretary finally answered.

The call lasted no more than fifteen seconds before it was disconnected.

After hanging up, Summer's face was ashen.

Seeing Summer's desperate struggle brought Iris immense pleasure.

She admired her freshly manicured nails from the day before. "How about this? You kneel and bow to me three times. If I'm in a good mood, I might even give you this dress."

"Shameless!" Summer bit her lip. "I paid the deposit. I will buy this dress today. You're not getting what's mine!"

Summer prepared to go to Vincent's office. This wasn't about the dress anymore; it was about her dignity, her pride.

Why should she just hand her things over to Iris?

But before Summer could make her next move, Iris let out a contemptuous laugh.

She took a card from her handbag and looked at the manager, though her words were for Summer.

"I'm a VIP. I get special treatment."

Even if the manager felt sympathy for the bullied woman, he didn't dare offend a VIP client. He quickly took the card to process it.
