“Hebert, you’ve got to be kidding me, right?” I pushed on, voice tight. “I’ve poured so much of myself into the Bloodmoon Pack! I handled all those annoying chores for you. I left my hometown for you. I’ve swallowed my emotions again and again just because of you! You can’t seriously kick me out over a stupid argument!”
“I’m not joking, Cecilia.” Hebert looked at me with that icy stare, sapphire eyes completely empty–no warmth, no hesitation, nothing. “I warned you clearly. Don’t touch my bottom line, Or did you already forget which pack you actually belong to?”
He stepped forward with that effortless grace of his, and the cedar scent of his pheromones slammed into the hallway like a vacuum, ripping the air right out of my lungs. “My deal with your father always had an expiration date. According to the contract, you should’ve gone back to the Darkriver Pack ages ago. You have no right to stay here and lecture my Luna on my land.”
My voice shot up instantly, sharp with jealousy I couldn’t control. “You’re seriously kicking me out for some useless Omega who doesn’t even have a wolf spirit? Hebert, are you out of your mind? That cheap little romance is scrambling your brain!” My fingers twisted into my skirt, nails digging in as I finally let every bit of my resentment spill out. “You know damn well I’m the one who truly fits you! Only my pure noble bloodline can push the Bloodmoon Pack’s power to its peak! That defective thing named Ashley? She’s carrying some other Alpha’s brat! She’ll never climb to the top with you-she’ll drag you straight down!”
Tears rolled down my cheeks right on cue as I looked at him with all the heartbreak I could muster. “And you also know I love you, Hebert. I’ve swallowed so much humiliation for you. Why can’t you see how real my feelings are?”
I waited after saying that.
Waited for even the slightest crack in his expression.
But facing my confession and my tears, Hebert’s handsome face didn’t move at all-not an inch of pity, not even a flicker
He closed the distance between us, that Alpha aura crashing down like a mountain. My spine screamed under the pressure, but clenched my jaw hard, refusing to kneel in front of him like some pathetic weakling
“This is exactly why you need to leave, Cecilia.” His voice was low and col each word dropping like a razor. “Stop pecsending Collect your things. By sunset today, you’re out of my territory.”
There was no room for negotiation. None.
My despair twisted instantly into something darker-pure venom. I straightened up, dropped the pitiful act, and let a cold, crazed smile curl at my lips.
“You’ll regret this so much, Hebert.” I met his eyes head-on. “One day, you’ll realize we’re the same kind of monster We ho crave blood. We both crave power.”
I leaned in, voice hoarse and low so only he could hear, slicing straight through his armor. “And your Dragile title piztund. you really think she’ll still love you once she sees the real you? Has she ever seen what you look like when you’re killing and enjoying it?”
His face-changed in an instant. That perfect jaw clenched so hard it went bone white, and a cleat pod starts organiks them. sapphire eyes.
“See?” I laughed, thrilled, the sound echoing sharply through the hallway. “You’re exited site and initial you really are. You’re scared of her sowing that monster in you. I’ll be waiting gladly-terth day seaty part

I headed straight toward the banquet hall inside the manor-the place where that cheap Omega, Ashley, was working all day like some holy little busy bee,
And I knew all too well: everything humiliating that happened to me today was thanks to het defective Omega constitution!
There were countless outstanding noble suitors surrounding Hebert; I knew that better than anyone. Those who tried to approach him had long been handled cleanly by me. But I never expected that the one who would finally force me into such a pathetic situation wouldn’t be some powerful rival, but a lowly Omega without even a wolf spirit, one who was even carrying Brian’s child in her belly!
For me, Cecilia, this was a lifelong stain that could never be washed away!
I hid in a dim booth on the second floor of the banquet hall, watching coldly from behind a heavy velvet curtain at the small figure downstairs who was busy directing a group of lower-rank Omega.
Ashley. That ridiculous, self-righteous saint.
She actually ran around tirelessly for those Omega who were worth less than ants, and even dared to offend the nobles of the Southern Alliance. Her kindness was so fragile it was practically made of glass-on this cruel werewolf continent, it wouldn’t survive even a single storm.
The corner of my mouth curled into a nearly deranged smile.
Outsiders had no idea-once Hebert encountered extremely intense flames, he would instantly lose control and turn into a true monster, consumed completely by bloodlust and brutality!
I would never forget that border battle. The enemy bombarded the Blood Moon Pack’s position with fireballs, and everyone thought the Blood Moon Pack was done for.
But at the height of the flames, Hebert underwent a complete transformation. I saw with my own eyes how he used those terrifying claws to tear enemy bodies into bloody chunks of raw flesh. The gore and screams would have made even the strongest werewolf collapse on the spot.
But I did not.
I wasn’t even afraid. Instead, because of that very scene-I fell madly in love with that man who looked as if he had walked straight out of hell.
Only that kind of power, that kind of killing intent, was worthy of my, Cecilia’s, submission!
And Ashley?
