During noon, as asked, Osvaldo escorted Penny and Hughes out of the mansion and to the site where her team prepared for the upcoming program which had lots of young stars involved.
Instead of just making one person win her new lab sidekick, Penny decided to give out gift prizes and a scholarship to people who actually needed it. She wanted to allow everyone to win.
Once they were done visiting her lab, Penny felt impressed. She had set up the place to be even better than Osvaldo’s lab back at the Penthouse. The only thing missing was a few chemicals found in his lab that had gone extinct hundreds of years ago.
Penny really wished she could go back and ask him for it. But she doubts Osvaldo would want to see her, she didn’t even want to see him, not after everything he’s done.
After making sure everything was in order, Penny and Osvaldo left the lab and headed home. On their way home, Penny decided to get her favorite roasted duck from the roadside where she got it the last time.
"Take the market route, I want to get something." She said calmly.
"The market?" Hughes asked turning to look at her mistress.
"What do you want to get?"
"The favorite thing the babies love." Penny smiled and Osvaldo froze. Were they two? His mouth opened slightly. How’s that even possible?
His Penguin was definitely not saved. Maybe, it wasn’t entirely too late. She’s only four months gone, what’s a little pain, when she can live forever with him?
It was time, he got rid of the evil growing in her.
"They must love it so much." Hughes smiled.
"They do. They crave it every day." Penny responded rubbing her belly. She has craved the roasted duck every day since she tasted it. Some people are just too good at roasting stuff.
"If you want to eat roasted duck, we have professional cooks. I can tell them to make it." Hughes initiated.
"Hmm, but it wouldn’t be as good as this one," Penny said, her mouth already watering at the thought of tasting her meat.
"Stop here," Penny said pointing at the little roadside stall where a few people gathered to eat and the car suddenly stopped there.
Osvaldo narrowed his eyes at the stall. He could also see roasted ducks resting on the grill. They looked so attractive and appetizing to eat.
"I... I see you brought your husband with you today." The man said with a nervous smile, his gaze shifting to the masked man behind her, and Penny the wd to look at him.
She rolled her eyes. She had told him not to come.
"You got it wrong," Penny said with a smile.
"Oh, I’m so sorry." He apologized immediately. Maybe he had been wrong to judge her. If this scary man isn’t her husband, then she must be a wife to a really scary boss. Who in this world can be scarier than this?
Osvaldo who had no idea how normal people conversed just stared behind his Penguin quietly. He really wanted to stay back, but he didn’t like the way the man stared at her. No other man is allowed to stare at his Penguin. Only he can do that.
"Can I get two ducks please. And make them super spicy." She said opening her purse to bring out the change she had borrowed from Hughes.
"Of course." The man packaged two ducks immediately and added extra spice as the lady had asked.
"Do you want some duck, I can get more for you." Penny turned to Osvaldo who quickly shook his head. She nodded and was about to leave when...
"Penelope." A familiar voice called for her to frown. How the hell did she get here? Penny wondered and then recalled that her apprenticeship program was coming soon, so a lot of people must have flown over, Ariana included.
Penny turned around slowly and Ari along Christian’s eyes went wide.
Was Penny pregnant?
