Penny had let her step on her for years, not because she didn’t know what to say or do, but because she loved them all.

But that love died in Owlsgrave. In this city, she was merciless. She turned to leave after rendering Ariana speechless and Ari’s eyes turned wide.

"So I’m right. You’re pregnant. Is that why you’re here?" Chris who was behind Ari couldn’t believe his eyes. Penny was indeed pregnant. The baby bump proved it all.
