All eyes turned to us, and I felt as if I was going to die.

The looks people were giving me were only the beginning.

I knew there would be more to come.

"With that being said, I would like to say that today, once again, the Alphas have disappointed us because they accused the Luna of one of the packs of something that did not happen. It was proven that they were wrong. Hence, it has been decided that the Alphas will publish an apology in front of everyone to Luna Yuvonne," Lord William announced.

He paused, took a deep breath, and then continued.

"There was also a case that happened previously which we will revisit. However, for now, I apologize for our wrong judgment. Luna Yuvonne, I hope you will forgive us, and the council as well," he added.

As Lord William spoke, Lady Abigail stepped forward and gave a very sad bow.

Another Alpha began lecturing me on the rights of a she-wolf as if I did not already know that.

"I would be very careful if I were you," I warned.

The Alpha began to chuckle, causing my body to stiffen.

"Well, I'm glad I'm not you because it seems like you're not so careful." The first alpha grunted,

"Besides, let's not forget that the Moon Goddess herself is a she-wolf. So Alpha Graham, stay away from the women of any pack. Because this time, the Alphas will take matters into our own hands and punish you."

A third Alpha spoke up, warning me. I closed my eyes for a moment and then opened them, my jaw clenching.
