Alpha Ron and I sat together in the car as we drove straight to that widow's place.

Lady Greta and my father were also with us.

"You will be the last person I would take advice from," he commented in annoyance.

I knew things were still pretty rough between us, and he was barely talking to me.

But I was doing my best to make him trust me again.

I knew it was going to be a hard task, but I was willing to do everything in my power to make him believe that I had changed.

Now she seemed even quieter, or perhaps more elegant.

Something almost royal.
