"Um, where are we going?" I asked Rob, quickening my pace to match his as his bodyguards held me by the arms.

"Uh, where are you taking her? She needs to come with me," I said as I watched them lead Gina to another car.

"No! I don't want to go with you. I want to stay with Aunt Livia!"

Gina's voice rang through the parking lot, and everybody fell silent.

I felt this strange affection toward her.

Or maybe connection was the right word.

The way she called me Aunt Livia made me feel like family.

"Please let me go with her. It's not like I'm running away," I complained, realizing they were probably taking me to treat President Sawyer at the hospital.

But why the heck were they dragging me?

It didn't make any sense, and I certainly didn't approve of it.

Panic struck me when I realized they had made Gina sit in a separate car with the guards and the asshole himself.

The entire car ride, I was extremely worried.

The saddest part was that I wished I had taken Gina to Baxter in the middle of the night.

Maybe I had overlooked the danger of having so many eyes on me.
