"Where is my father?" she whimpered, making me roll my eyes as I put on my coat.

"I don't know," I replied with a shrug. "I was just hungry. I don't know if I drank his blood or ate him. I'm not sure." I didn't put much thought into it.

After I found my lycan, I had dismissed most of my maids and servants.

I only kept a few, whose families I had taken into my custody.

"I don't know where I left his body. I mean, my lycan was a little angry. He must have eaten him, drained his blood, or whatever, and hidden the body somewhere. That's what he does," I replied bitterly.

I was lying.
