Ron had been yelling at the top of his lungs ever since he returned to my house a day later.

Yuvonne tilted her head and spoke softly. “So, I heard you didn’t want Ron to kill the monster because he was Madeline’s father. And now you’re telling us he’s your father as well. Does that mean what I think it means?”

As soon as she brought it up, I drew a deep breath.

“I haven’t been completely honest with you all.”

I paused, then told them the lore of the sisters and everything else I had kept from them.

Now, I had truly told them everything about myself.

“You’re not gonna yell at her anymore?” Yuvonne teased Ron with a smirk.

“I mean, she is Madeline’s sister,” Ron muttered, looking pale after the revelation.
