Chapter 140
Chapter 140
Jessica’s POV
The shower was the only place I felt like I could let go. I turned the water on as hot as I could stand it, letting the steam fill the bathroom until the mirrors were blind.
I stepped under the spray, and as the heat hit my skin, the dam finally broke.
I leaned my forehead against the cold tiles and sobbed. The tears were quiet, lost in the roar of the water, but they were
violent.
I felt so defeated, so trapped between the life I wanted and the reality that threatened to tear it away.
I was so absorbed in the sound of my own grief that I didn’t hear the bathroom door open. I didn’t hear the glass of the shower stall slide back.
Suddenly, a warm, solid weight pressed against my back. I froze, my breath hitching in my throat as I felt the familiar heat of Aaron’s body.
He was already naked, his skin slick with the spray of the water.
I felt the hard, unmistakable press of his arousal against my backside, grounding me instantly.
“I know what you’re thinking about,” he whispered.
His lips were barely brushing the sensitive skin of my neck.
He began to trail a path of fire down toward my shoulder, his hands coming around to cup my waist, pulling me firmly against him.
I shut my eyes tight and leaned my head back against his chest, a broken whimper escaping me.
“Trust me, Jessica,” he murmured against my ear. His voice was a low, vibrating growl that cut through the noise of the
water.
“I told you I’m not letting you go. Tomorrow is just a move on the board. Look at me.”
He turned me around in his arms. My face was flushed from the heat and the crying, my eyes red and swollen..
He framed my face with his large hands, his thumbs wiping away the stray tears.
“I am yours,” he said, his gaze so fierce it felt like it was branding me. “Everything I’m doing is so I never have to hide you again. Just trust me.”
I wanted to speak, to tell him I was terrified, but he didn’t give me the chance. He captured my mouth in a kiss that was desperate and demanding, a silent vow that spoke louder than any words.
I melted into him, my hands sliding up his wet chest to lock behind his neck. The shower became a world of its own: the heat, the steam, and the relentless friction of his skin against mine.
He lifted me, my legs instinctively wrapping around his waist as he pinned me against the tiled wall.
Aaron’s hands roamed with a restless, possessive energy. One tangled in my wet hair, while the other glided down my back. to cup my hip, pulling me flush against him.

Chapter 140
His erection pressed hard against my thigh, sending a jolt of heat straight to my core.
“Let me show you,” he growled against my mouth, his voice rough with a desire that made my knees weak. He lifted me effortlessly, and I wrapped my legs around his waist as he pressed me against the tiled wall.
The cool surface was a sharp shock against my heated skin, but I only wanted to be closer to him.
The water cascaded over us, slicking our skin as he trailed fire down my neck, nipping at my collarbone just enough to make me gasp.
“Aaron,” I moaned, my head falling back as my fingers dug into his shoulders. His mouth found my breast, his tongue circling and teeth grazing until I arched into him, grinding against his length.
He groaned, the vibration humming through my entire frame. His hand slid between us, teasing my entrance before plunging in, his fingers hitting that exact spot that made the world tilt.
I cried out, my hips bucking as he increased the pressure, the steam filling my lungs and the water amplifying every slide of
skin.
“Please,” I begged, my voice breaking. I was desperate to bridge the final gap.
He pulled his fingers free and positioned himself, his eyes locking onto mine-dark with lust, but filled with a terrifyingly beautiful kind of love.
“I love you, Jessica,” he said, the words a low rumble before he thrust in deep, filling me completely.
I gasped, the sensation overwhelming me. It was a delicious, searing connection that made my nails rake down his back.
He stilled for a heartbeat, letting me adjust, his forehead resting against mine as we shared the same ragged breath.
Then he began to move. It was slow and deliberate at first, each thrust savoring the friction, pulling broken moans from my lips.
“Fuck, Jess,” he groaned, his pace quickening as the rhythm built like a storm.
I met every thrust, my legs locked tight around him. His mouth claimed mine again, swallowing my cries as he drove harder, one hand bracing the wall for leverage while the other gripped my hip.
The world shrunk down to the sound of splashing water and the heat of our bodies.
“You’re mine,” he gritted out, his teeth grazing the shell of my ear. “And you’re mine.”
I couldn’t respond with words, only with the way I clung to him, my body tightening around him as the tension coiled in my
gut.
“Come for me,” he whispered against my ear, his thumb finding my clit and circling with relentless expert pressure.
The coil in my belly snapped. Ecstasy crashed over me in violent, shimmering waves, my body clenching around him as I shattered, crying his name into the steam.
He followed a moment later, his body tensing with a final, deep thrust as he spilled inside me, our shuddering breaths echoing off the tiles.
We stayed like that for a long time, the water cooling as we both struggled to find our footing.
Eventually, he eased me down and turned off the shower. He dried me with a tenderness that made my throat ache. wrapping me in a fluffy towel before leading me to the bedroom.
