"Jordan." Natalie's father finally spoke after a long silence. "Isabella was the one who gave you those photos. Isabella and Natalie have never gotten along. Is it possible that those pictures..."

"Dad, that's impossible!" Jordan said in a low voice. "Isabella is a law-abiding citizen. She wouldn't stoop to framing someone. Besides, she received those photos anonymously. She has no idea who took them or who sent them."

"She gave them to me because, at the end of the day, we've lived under the same roof for twenty years. Even if our relationship has never been warm, the Lane family put a roof over her head for two decades." If the Lane family hadn't taken in Cynthia and Isabella, Isabella would have been trafficked by her deadbeat relatives when she was just a little girl.

"Natalie brought this on herself. She's targeted Isabella from day one, never leaving any room for peace. People say you should always leave a bridge unburned, but Natalie torched every last one when it came to Isabella."

"Isabella isn't a saint. After all the vicious things Natalie has done to her, why should Isabella bend over backward to cover her tracks or keep her secrets? I'm technically Isabella's brother. She simply didn't want to see me played for a fool."

"Giving the photos to me was the right move, both personally and logically."

Natalie's father was left speechless.

"Dad, I'm not an idiot," Jordan replied flatly. "Why would I ever breathe a word of this? Is being a cuckold supposed to be a point of pride? People would only laugh at me for wearing the horns."

Because his own pride was on the line, Jordan had no intention of leaking the photos.

Even his own father, Jackson, was completely in the dark.
