Natalie and Jordan both hated the idea of Cynthia leaving her husband. They knew exactly what would happen if she did. Jackson would marry that woman the moment the ink dried, and that illegitimate kid would become Jordan’s half-brother.
Jackson was totally into Deborah now. The second she moved in, anyone could see who would lose out.
Jordan couldn’t accept that. Not a chance. He and Natalie already saw The Lane Group as theirs. In Jordan’s words, he’d worked himself to the bone for that company. He’d used Ethan’s feelings for Natalie to score deals with The Adams Group, getting a huge return for barely any risk. And what for? To make The Lane Group bigger, richer, untouchable. The idea that all his effort would just end up helping someone else, even if it was just a third, was something Jordan could never live with. Who would?
After Natalie finished, Ethan didn’t even hesitate. “Isabella already said yesterday she supports Cynthia divorcing him. She thinks any man who cheats doesn’t deserve forgiveness.”
“I agree with her,” Ethan added. “Jackson already has a kid with someone else. Divorce is the best thing for Cynthia. I’m with her on this.”
Natalie didn’t know what to say. She’d come hoping Ethan would talk Isabella out of supporting the divorce, but he was all in.
After a while, Natalie tried again. “Cynthia’s been a stay-at-home wife since she got married. No job, no income, she depends on Jackson. If they split, she…”
“Cynthia has me and Isabella,” Ethan cut in. “You really think we couldn’t support her? Jackson cheated and hurt her. If they split, he should compensate her. Thirty million is a joke. I say at least three hundred million.”
“I just think throwing away twenty years of marriage like this is such a waste. It’s like letting that woman win.”
Natalie let out a long sigh.
“Jackson doesn’t care about Cynthia anymore,” Ethan replied calmly. “Forcing the marriage to keep going will only make everyone miserable. It’s better to end it and let everyone move on. Cynthia isn’t making a scene, she’s just asking for a divorce and handling it with dignity. I don’t see anything wrong with that.”
Ethan sounded so righteous talking about Jackson’s marriage, but he completely ignored his own situation. His heart wasn’t with Isabella either, yet he insisted on keeping their marriage together. He was hurting her, too, whether he admitted it or not.

I wish Harold will win Isabella's heart. I was so sad when Isabela was taken for granted coldly and cruelly by her supposed to be husband, and trapped,mocked and humiliated non stop by Natalie. This was so cruel, both don't deserve Isabela' forgiveness I wish for a happy ending between Isabela and Harold, he has the right to be happy after the long wait....
Frankly, the story initially was going quite good and the pacing was just right. unfortunately after Ethan got the dream of his past life, the story has been going in circles. Ethan's spouting the same nonsense every time he sees Isabella, they both have same conversations over and over. The authors monologue too has been the same for almost 400 chapters. Irrespective of which character the writing the just a repetition of what someone had gone through in the past and what made a certain character feel the emotions. York got introduced in 800 chapters yet nothing significant happened till date. Isabella is soft with Harold and kind of disgusted with Ethan, yet it is not entirely clear with whom she might end up. If she stays single i am fine with it but the story is clearly about Isabella and Ethan so almost 1000 chapters without seeing any progress in their relationship is frustrating. Except for being blindly in love and few aggressive instances with Isabella, Ethan actually isnt a bad person so i am fine if he can win her back. Even though Harold is coming off as a good second lead, i am somehow unable to warm upto him. Even the bad people in the story are not really facing any real consequences. I hate Jackson for his hypocrisy. I hate Jordan and Natalie for their self-righteouness and selfishness. I also hate Deborah, except when she is handing it out to Natalie. I am almost on the verge of dropping this story....

Ethan is actually not that bad if we take out his blind love for Natalie...
