“You’re disgusting. Seriously, you have no shame. You’re even trying to steal Isabella’s husband.”
Natalie’s cheeks flamed with anger. “I’ve known Ethan for almost thirty years. Isabella came along way after. Ethan and I are just friends, nothing more. Now get out. I mean it, leave right now.”
Deborah dragged her suitcase up again, trying to barge in. Natalie stood in her way, arms spread wide.
“Get out of my way.”
Deborah shoved her hard. The housekeeper rushed over to help Natalie, but Deborah kicked her straight in the side. The housekeeper stumbled back and landed on the floor with a thud.
“If you want to keep your job, stay out of this.” Deborah glared down at her. “I’ll be the lady of this house soon. If you dare take her side and make things hard for me, I’ll fire every single one of you the second I move in.”
Honestly, even if they didn’t help Natalie, Deborah was planning to fire the whole Lane family staff once she had control. She wanted her own people around, people who would actually listen to her. She wasn’t about to let this chance slip away.
“Get out of my house, you bitch. Come in here again and I’m calling the cops.” Natalie shoved Deborah, grabbing at her arms.
They were at each other again, clawing and shoving. With no one to help, Natalie just couldn’t keep up. Deborah was ruthless. She didn’t go for Natalie’s face but grabbed at her clothes, tearing fabric and yanking at her hair. Natalie struggled to fight back, trying to shield herself, but every few seconds she’d let out a sharp, panicked scream.
“You call me a slut? Look at yourself. I’ll rip your dress to shreds, let everyone see what you really are. With a mouth that foul, you must eat trash for breakfast. Maybe I should rip that nasty mouth right off your face.”
He had no idea how bad it would be until he saw it for himself.
Deborah was a force of nature, way tougher than Cynthia. Cynthia was always gentle, always soft-spoken. She would never raise her voice, let alone her fists.
“What is going on in here?” Jackson’s voice boomed through the room. His face was grim, eyes blazing.
The moment she heard him, Deborah ran over and burst into tears. “Jackson, if you hadn’t come home, she would’ve killed me.”
Natalie saw him too and looked like she wanted to complain, but one look at her ripped clothes changed her mind. She wrapped her arms around herself and bolted upstairs as fast as she could.

The readers' comments on the novel: After I Stopped Loving Him (Isabella and Ethan)
Author, please get your characters names right. You always messing them up!...
I wish Harold will win Isabella's heart. I was so sad when Isabela was taken for granted coldly and cruelly by her supposed to be husband, and trapped, mocked and humiliated non stop by Natalie. This was so cruel, both don't deserve Isabela' forgiveness I wish for a happy ending between Isabela and Harold, he has the right to be happy after the long wait....
Frankly, the story initially was going quite good and the pacing was just right. unfortunately after Ethan got the dream of his past life, the story has been going in circles. Ethan's spouting the same nonsense every time he sees Isabella, they both have same conversations over and over. The authors monologue too has been the same for almost 400 chapters. Irrespective of which character the writing the just a repetition of what someone had gone through in the past and what made a certain character feel the emotions. York got introduced in 800 chapters yet nothing significant happened till date. Isabella is soft with Harold and kind of disgusted with Ethan, yet it is not entirely clear with whom she might end up. If she stays single i am fine with it but the story is clearly about Isabella and Ethan so almost 1000 chapters without seeing any progress in their relationship is frustrating. Except for being blindly in love and few aggressive instances with Isabella, Ethan actually isnt a bad person so i am fine if he can win her back. Even though Harold is coming off as a good second lead, i am somehow unable to warm upto him. Even the bad people in the story are not really facing any real consequences. I hate Jackson for his hypocrisy. I hate Jordan and Natalie for their self-righteouness and selfishness. I also hate Deborah, except when she is handing it out to Natalie. I am almost on the verge of dropping this story....
Why are they acting like kids 🤣😭...
Ethan is actually not that bad if we take out his blind love for Natalie...
