Isabella gave a cool, disinterested reply. “That’s their problem. It has nothing to do with me.”
Ethan really was trying to move on from Natalie, but Isabella doubted Natalie would ever let go so easily. She knew Natalie too well. Natalie loved being the center of attention, loved having both men chasing after her. If either of them tried to walk away, she’d do anything to pull him back.
In her past life, Isabella never figured that out. She kept getting hurt, always at a disadvantage, and in the end, she died without even knowing why. She’d always suspected Natalie was behind it, but she never had any proof.
Ethan once had a dream about what happened after Isabella’s death in their last life. He didn’t see who the real killer was, only that Isabella’s mother was murdered afterward too.
Harold spoke up. “Yeah, whatever’s going on with them, let’s just stay out of it.”
A couple of minutes later, Ethan finally made his way over.
Honestly, the moment York started chatting with Isabella, Ethan wanted to come over right away. But Natalie stopped him, and even when he tried to come up with an excuse to leave, she wouldn’t let him go.
“Isabella.” Ethan called her name and sat down next to her, not even waiting for her to answer.
“What did York say to you just now?” he asked, trying to sound casual. Inside, though, he was a mess of jealousy.
He’d always known Isabella was beautiful. Back when she was his wife, nobody dared to approach her, even if they wanted to. Even Harold had kept his distance until after the divorce, when he finally started chasing her openly.
“Nothing worth mentioning,” Isabella answered, her tone still cool as she focused on her food.
Ethan hesitated for a moment, then tried to explain himself. “Isabella, there’s really nothing between me and Natalie now. I’m not the same person I used to be. I don’t feel the same way about her.”
All he wanted now was to win Isabella back, to marry her again.
Ever since Ethan and Harold arrived, both of them had barely left Isabella’s side. Natalie had only managed to pull Ethan away for a few minutes, but the moment he saw Harold alone with Isabella, he abandoned her and went right back.
Isabella really had taken Ethan away from her.
She’d seen York go over to talk to Isabella too, and she noticed how Isabella acted polite but distant, making it clear they didn’t know each other.
“Natalie, why are you standing here all by yourself?” Nadine, her best friend, walked over with a drink, following Natalie’s gaze. “Stop staring. Ethan’s been glued to Isabella all night.”
“I know.” Natalie’s voice was steady, but jealousy made her grip the wine glass so tight her knuckles turned white.
“And it’s not just Ethan,” Nadine added. “Harold’s been hanging around Isabella too. I get why Ethan would, but what’s Harold’s deal? Isabella’s divorced, and he still likes her.”

The readers' comments on the novel: After I Stopped Loving Him (Isabella and Ethan)
Author, please get your characters names right. You always messing them up!...
I wish Harold will win Isabella's heart. I was so sad when Isabela was taken for granted coldly and cruelly by her supposed to be husband, and trapped, mocked and humiliated non stop by Natalie. This was so cruel, both don't deserve Isabela' forgiveness I wish for a happy ending between Isabela and Harold, he has the right to be happy after the long wait....
Frankly, the story initially was going quite good and the pacing was just right. unfortunately after Ethan got the dream of his past life, the story has been going in circles. Ethan's spouting the same nonsense every time he sees Isabella, they both have same conversations over and over. The authors monologue too has been the same for almost 400 chapters. Irrespective of which character the writing the just a repetition of what someone had gone through in the past and what made a certain character feel the emotions. York got introduced in 800 chapters yet nothing significant happened till date. Isabella is soft with Harold and kind of disgusted with Ethan, yet it is not entirely clear with whom she might end up. If she stays single i am fine with it but the story is clearly about Isabella and Ethan so almost 1000 chapters without seeing any progress in their relationship is frustrating. Except for being blindly in love and few aggressive instances with Isabella, Ethan actually isnt a bad person so i am fine if he can win her back. Even though Harold is coming off as a good second lead, i am somehow unable to warm upto him. Even the bad people in the story are not really facing any real consequences. I hate Jackson for his hypocrisy. I hate Jordan and Natalie for their self-righteouness and selfishness. I also hate Deborah, except when she is handing it out to Natalie. I am almost on the verge of dropping this story....
Why are they acting like kids 🤣😭...
Ethan is actually not that bad if we take out his blind love for Natalie...
