“Natalie,” Ethan said, sounding way too casual for the situation. “Jeremy basically grew up with us, so it’s fine if he knows what’s going on with you and Jordan. Honestly, I’m not great at comforting people, but Jeremy’s got a silver tongue. He’ll know what to say.”
“I just worry that anything I say will only make you feel worse.”
Jeremy blinked, caught off guard. Silver tongue? Sure, he could talk his way out of almost anything, but comfort Natalie? About what, exactly? He hadn’t caught the details earlier. Ethan’s office was practically soundproof.
“Jeremy, you have to promise to keep this a secret,” Natalie said, her voice tense. “If I haven’t told anyone, you and your brother can’t say anything either. If this gets out, I’ll know it was you two.”
“Right now, only me, Nadine, and you guys know.”
Jeremy jumped in right away, “Come on, Natalie, if Nadine knows, there’s no way you can be sure it’s just me and my brother. We don’t gossip. Our lips are sealed.”
Natalie suddenly realized she’d forgotten to tell Nadine to keep quiet. Would Nadine say something? She hoped not. She’d already told her she didn’t want a divorce, that she still wanted to make things work with Jordan. Nadine was her best friend. She’d never betray her like that. At least, that’s what Natalie kept telling herself.
If the secret did get out and Jordan heard about it, he’d have some serious explaining to do.
“Jordan cheated on her,” Ethan said, laying it all out for Jeremy.
Jeremy stared at him, completely stunned. Jordan cheated? He actually cheated? Wasn’t he head over heels for Natalie? They always seemed so happy together, always showing off their perfect marriage. Less than two years, and he’d already messed it up.
Like father, like son. Neither of them could stay loyal.
He didn’t want Natalie to get divorced. If she was single again, he knew she’d make his life miserable.
Natalie went quiet. She stared at the beautiful pastries and the bowl of fruit on the coffee table, lost in thought. Ethan’s heart was with Isabella now. Winning him over like she used to was off the table.
She was going to have to find another way to complete the mission York had given her. But not right now. Ethan was on guard. She needed to act like she didn’t care, keep her distance, and wait until his guard dropped. Then she’d make her move.
That was the only way she’d have a real shot.
Once she got Ethan to sleep with her, she’d take photos and videos and send them straight to Isabella. That would make sure Isabella never wanted him back. And after they’d slept together, angry or not, Ethan would have to take responsibility. After all, they had history. They’d known each other since they were kids.

The readers' comments on the novel: After I Stopped Loving Him (Isabella and Ethan)
Author, please get your characters names right. You always messing them up!...
I wish Harold will win Isabella's heart. I was so sad when Isabela was taken for granted coldly and cruelly by her supposed to be husband, and trapped, mocked and humiliated non stop by Natalie. This was so cruel, both don't deserve Isabela' forgiveness I wish for a happy ending between Isabela and Harold, he has the right to be happy after the long wait....
Frankly, the story initially was going quite good and the pacing was just right. unfortunately after Ethan got the dream of his past life, the story has been going in circles. Ethan's spouting the same nonsense every time he sees Isabella, they both have same conversations over and over. The authors monologue too has been the same for almost 400 chapters. Irrespective of which character the writing the just a repetition of what someone had gone through in the past and what made a certain character feel the emotions. York got introduced in 800 chapters yet nothing significant happened till date. Isabella is soft with Harold and kind of disgusted with Ethan, yet it is not entirely clear with whom she might end up. If she stays single i am fine with it but the story is clearly about Isabella and Ethan so almost 1000 chapters without seeing any progress in their relationship is frustrating. Except for being blindly in love and few aggressive instances with Isabella, Ethan actually isnt a bad person so i am fine if he can win her back. Even though Harold is coming off as a good second lead, i am somehow unable to warm upto him. Even the bad people in the story are not really facing any real consequences. I hate Jackson for his hypocrisy. I hate Jordan and Natalie for their self-righteouness and selfishness. I also hate Deborah, except when she is handing it out to Natalie. I am almost on the verge of dropping this story....
Why are they acting like kids 🤣😭...
Ethan is actually not that bad if we take out his blind love for Natalie...
