Inside the room, Vivian hadn’t heard the sirens yet. Still refusing to believe George would abandon her, she frantically called him again and again. No one
answered.
Then she too heard the police sirens. Finally, fear took hold. She panicked.
She couldn’t go to prison. She wouldn’t go to prison. She couldn’t return to that horrifying place.
Frantically, she climbed out of bed and limped toward the door, desperate to hide somewhere, anywhere. But she’d barely made it into the hallway when police officers rushed forward and restrained her.
‘Let me go! Let me go!” Vivian struggled wildly, but no one listened. The officers pushed her back into the room.
Truly terrified now, Vivian trembled uncontrollably. In her panic, she remembered her mother and brother’s earlier conversation. She quickly texted Lorelei: [Aunt Lorelei, I’ll do anything for you. Whatever my brother won’t do, I will. Just please save me.]
The message had barely sent when Lily and Caden returned with the police.
Seeing the officers, Caden knew it was too late. Any chance to surrender voluntarily had passed.
The lead detective presented arrest warrants and handcuffed both Vivian and Lily–one for murder, one for concealing a body and attempting to bribe officers to destroy evidence. Officer Garner, the corrupt cop they d bribed, had already been detained. Everyone involved in the case would face justice.
At the police station, Anissa once again saw Vivian, her son’s killer.
Through the interrogation room glass, Anissa stared at her with burning hatred, wishing she could rush in and kill the monster herself. If not for this devil, her son would still be alive today. Her son had done nothing wrong–he simply didn’t love this monster.
Since when was not loving someone‘ a crime?
Anissa slammed her fist on the table, consumed by hatred and grief. The injustice of it all. She would never see her son again… She collapsed onto the table,
sobbing uncontrollably.
Several officers watched but didn’t intervene. This grieving mother needed to release her anguish.
In the interrogation room, Vivian faced overwhelming evidence but continued to make excuses. One moment claiming mental illness, the next pretending to be insane, then playing innocent and pitiful.
But this time, no one would help her destroy evidence. Even the mighty Price family had been overpowered by someone with greater influence, their usual
tactics rendered useless.
The classmates who had participated in the bullying and violence were also arrested. Faced with irrefutable evidence, they immediately confessed the truth.
That day, Vivian had summoned Mark to her house and demanded he like her. When he refused, she drugged him with something that caused disorientation. Then she stripped him, tied him to her bed, and strangled him to death.
In the hospital, Becky had also given her statement about everything that happened. The two female officers taking her testimony felt chills down their spines. An ordinary, unremarkable afternoon had become hell for these two teenagers.
Even the Price family bodyguards couldn’t withstand interrogation and confessed everything.

Only Lily continued to resist desperately, insisting that Vivian had suffered from mental illness since childhood. But as she attempted to use this excuse to escape punishment, evidence arrived from Silverlight City proving she had bribed doctors and police to provide false testimony.
All the evidence was now in the open. Everyone involved in the case had been caught. Lily and Vivian had run out of excuses.
Caden, mentally exhausted, stepped outside for a cigarette. As he exited the police station, he ran into Julian and Louisa.
After a moment’s hesitation, he approached them. “Mr. Tudor.”
