*Regardless, Julian has agreed to help, Louisa said. “I can see that he actually wanted to help the Young family all along, but maybe it’s just complicated. Anyway, things are as they are now, so let’s not say more about it. Think about what you want to do.”

Julian had asked Louisa to consider how she wanted to help in this matter. But she still wanted to hear Flora’s thoughts. Truthfully, she wasn’t trying to help

the Young family or Isaac, but Flora.

In this matter, Louisa fully respected Flora’s wishes.

Flora laughed coldly. “What do I want to do? Damn it, I really want to see Isaac bankrupt. That old bastard betrayed my mother, ruined my grandfather’s perfume empire, and brought his mistress and illegitimate daughter home. I truly wish he would go bankrupt and lose everything–that’s what he deserves for betraying my mother!”

“Don’t say things out of anger,” Louisa cautioned. “The Young Group isn’t really Isaac’s–it’s your grandfather’s, and he left it for you.”

Louisa paused for a moment. After a few seconds, she continued, “If you want to take back the Young Group, I can help you.”

If that was the case, they might not even need Julian’s intervention; Louisa could handle it herself.

“Honestly, I don’t know,” Flora admitted. “While I’m reluctant to let go of my grandfather’s legacy, the Young Group is now just an empty shell–a debt-

ridden empty shell.

“Even if I took it back, I couldn’t bring it back to life and would just be cleaning up Isaac’s mess.

“Moreover, the current Young Group is riddled with problems and corruption, nothing like it was during my grandfather’s time. Taking it back doesn’t mean

much.”

“So you’re determined to let it go?” Louisa asked.

Flora didn’t respond. She knew that reclaiming it wouldn’t serve much purpose. Yet she was truly reluctant to abandon it. It was a dilemma.

Louisa didn’t press her. “This isn’t something to rush. Think it through carefully and don’t act impulsively. When you’ve made up your mind, tell me. Sadie and I will always stand by you.”

Flora’s voice choked up. “Alright, I understand.”

After ending the call, Louisa went to bed. Despite being extremely sleepy earlier, she now found herself unable to fall asleep, Julian’s face appearing before her from time to time.

The next day, she lacked energy when she got up. She quickly made herself a sandwich, grabbed a bottle of milk, slung her bag over her shoulder, and prepared to head to work.

As soon as she stepped out, she encountered Julian. Julian and Teddy had just left their apartment as well.

‘Good morning, Mr. Tudor, Louisa greeted politely.

Julian noticed the dark circles under her eyes. ‘Didn’t sleep well? Had dreams?”

Before Louisa could respond, her face flushed red.

Teddy was extremely curious and leaned close to her eat. “Mr. Tudor asked if you had dreams, why are you blushing? Don’t tell me you dreamed about him?

Louisa stepped hard on his foot.

Julian seemed to have overheard their whispered exchange and noticed Louisa’s small gesture. He smiled, the corners of his mouth curving upward.

Louisa saw this and wondered what Julian was smiling about. Inside the elevator, she stared at the digital display showing the floor numbers, not daring to

look in Julian’s direction.

Just as they were about to reach the first floor, before Louisa could breathe a sigh of relief, Julian suddenly spoke. “Keep your lunch hour free. Come with me

to attend a meal.”

Louisa knew he was speaking to her and instinctively turned to look at him. “What meal?”
