After the Affair: Falling into a Billionaire’s Arms
Chapter 313
Julian didn’t answer right away. He walked to the sofa and sat down.
Teddy poured him a cup of tea and brought it over.
Julian took a sip before speaking slowly. “We haven’t done a DNA test yet, but I’m fairly certain.
“Nicholas showed me photos of his mother. Louisa’s face is about seventy percent similar to hers.
“Louisa has mentioned that her father was a bodyguard for a wealthy family.
“Thirty years ago, Oliver Getty had four highly skilled bodyguards who were fiercely loyal to him.

“Twenty–seven years ago, during that incident, the four bodyguards and Oliver were burned beyond recognition.
“Though we can’t be sure exactly what happened, it’s possible that Oliver fought his way out and had one of his bodyguards escape with
his daughter.”
Teddy was shocked by this revelation.
He’d known Louisa for so long but never imagined she could be the Getty family’s daughter–a Getty heiress?
The information was overwhelming. He needed time to process it.
After a moment, he asked, “But if you’re pretty certain, why not do a DNA test? And why isn’t Nicholas acknowledging her as his sister?
Isn’t that unfair to Louisa?”
“The Getty family is unstable right now,” Julian explained. “Nicholas can protect himself, but protecting Louisa would be difficult for him.
He doesn’t want to risk it.”
Nicholas didn’t dare investigate Louisa’s background further, fearing other members of the Getty family might discover her. That would
put Louisa in danger,
Noah, who had been listening, was completely stunned. Hearing Julian mention danger, he snapped to attention. “Mr. Tudor, should we
assign more people to protect Louisa?”
Julian shook his head. “No need. Too many people would make her suspicious and anxious. Don’t let her know about any of this yet. The time isn’t right. For now, keep everything as is.”
Teddy and Noah fell silent.
Julian wanted to protect Louisa’s safety while also caring for her emotional well–being and keeping her happy. Was he that in love with

her?

In the car carlier, Julian had only told Louisa trivial information. The most important details, he’d kept to himself.
“But won’t this put Louisa in danger?” Noah asked worriedly.
Julian gave him a look. “What do I keep you around for?”

Noah looked dejected and defended himself. “Of course I’ll protect Louisa with my life! In a fight, I could take on ten assassins. I’m just
worried they might outsmart me. When it comes to brains, I’m outmatched.”
At least he knew his limitations.
“Don’t worry too much,” Julian said. “I’ll personally protect her. But when I’m not around, you two need to stay vigilant.”
“Yes, sir!” Teddy and Noah responded in unison.
Meanwhile, Louisa remained blissfully unaware.
She was like a girl protected in an ivory tower, completely sheltered from the harsh realities outside.
In less than an hour, she had already bonded with Satan.
Petting a dog was surprisingly addictive.
She sat on the sofa by the floor–to–ceiling windows, with Satan lazily stretched out beside her.
She sipped her tea while stroking Satan’s head. Woman and dog, both relaxed and content.
Suddenly, Rachel called.
Louisa answered with a smile. “Rachel, what made you call me out of the blue?”
‘I heard about Vivian getting caught,” Rachel replied. “Just checking in for the latest news.”
“You’re a bit late to the party,” Louisa said. “In a couple of days, everyone will know.”
She put the call on speaker and set her phone aside.
“Good news is never too late,” Rachel said. “So Vivian’s finally been arrested.
“I had no idea she was already killing and burying bodies at such a young age. I was shocked when I heard.

“That psycho–thank goodness she’s locked up. If she’d married George, even if you hadn’t crossed her, she might have killed George the
moment he upset her.”
“Let her kill him then. Not my problem,” Louisa replied.
George wasn’t exactly innocent either. If he really wanted to, he probably could have killed Vivian before she even had a chance to make a
move.
But none of this concerned Louisa anymore.
Rachel noticed her casual tone and laughed. “So you’re completely over George now?”
“Is that a problem?” Louisa asked.
“Not at all! I’m just impressed by how quickly you’ve moved on. Your voice sounds so much lighter. Is that Julian’s doing? Come on, tell
me–how far have you two gone? Have you slept together yet?”
Louisa, who had been drinking tea, choked and hurriedly grabbed a tissue to wipe her mouth. She frantically turned off the speaker.
Even though Julian couldn’t possibly hear from next door, Louisa felt self–conscious.
Rachel heard the commotion and laughed suggestively. “Why are you so nervous? Don’t tell me you’ve been around Julian all this time
and haven’t thought about him that way?”
Louisa stayed silent.
Rachel’s guess was too accurate.
Lately, Julian had been appearing frequently in Louisa’s dreams, making it hard for her to see him without wanting to jump his bones.
As for why they hadn’t slept together yet?
She didn’t know where she was finding such strong self–control.
“Can we change the subject?” she asked weakly.
If they continued, she’d look like some sex–crazed woman.
But Rachel wouldn’t let it go. “Why are you being so shy? It’s natural to have desires. Julian looks so–`
“Stop!” Louisa interrupted quickly. She took a deep breath. ‘Fine, you’re right. I can’t deny my desires. So I’m planning to take care of
them myself.
Rachel laughed even more gleefully. “Why would you do that? You’ve got top–tier Julian right there, and you’re not taking advantage? How
